Soooo I don't know if it's an awesome detail or a HUGE coincidence but I kidnapped and stabbed a guy to death then dumped his body in a river near Blackwater. And the next day the bartender in Blackwater's saloon mentionned that a dead body was found in the river and that he was apparently stabbed to death. Freaked me out a little.

I actually saw an Opossum play dead in game once, I was actually amazed, it really tricked me too. I was riding past it on horse back and it flopped and I got the "skin/pick up" prompt whilst I was on the horse, I figured I ran it over. Thought "that's weird, maybe a bug?" So I dismounted to loot it and it got up and ran off, then I realised what animal it was. Good job opossum dude

The best part about these details is discovering them on your own. When I ran into an escaped prisoner, i thought I'd try tie him up, then I remembered the sheriffs office in Valentine, and wondered what would happen if I took the prisoner there (keeping in mind there are 0 prompts telling you what to do). The immersion in this game is incredible.

If you do the opposite, you can get rewarded to. I ended up freeing a prisoner from his shackles and didn't turn him in. A few in-game days later I ran into the EXACT SAME GUY (he recognized me to and was embarrassed at getting captured a second time!) The second time I freed him, he ended up tipping me off to a house I could rob as thanks.

couple of my favorite details; if you shoot an oil tank in chapter two, it'll leak oil. the insults arthur tells himself in the mirror hinting to his mindset about himself(tbh it isnt really true what he says hes loml), and when you ride through trees on your horse he puts his hand in front of his face

Yes and no. Gta 4 had a lot of detail that didn't carry over to gta 5. The biggest one was how the cops wouldn't shoot at you for a one star rating unless you shot at them first.

Try going to a bath and putting your hands crossed or your back stomach to the ground, then remember that a person would be knocked to the ground real fast and hogtied really tidy. Now the brain of any human would understand what’s happening, but your brain wouldn’t signal your body to resist, because 1: You are mostly in no way of advantage over the kidnapper when lassoed 2. When you move your slightest, you will be beaten up by the kidnapper 3. Your body won’t roll in sand underwater, that would take a lot of force, and you will 100% expose your force to the kidnapper, and proceed to get beaten/shot. No one is a hero in that situation, and I don’t recommend pretending to be one (Plus either way you cannot roll easily on solid, you need again, a lot of power)
