Listen at 4:54. That is corps staff yelling out. It is a perfect moment for this production. This is by far the best show that never won the gold. It's the best of the best and will always be remembered as the night that was stolen from PR. 2008 Spartacus is a moment in time and can't be taken away, ever. This night, in 89", was stolen from PR though, it will always be their masterwork. They took visual and 2 brass captions that night. They also introduced the wedge that season. It's a masterpiece. Secretly, I hummed this entire show years thereafter.

It’s both giving the Corp a bigger talent pool and letting more people enjoy the amazing experiences and opportunities that dci gives them. What’s wrong with that? Edit: plus without letting girls in color guard, almost all drum corps wouldn’t be able to fill all of the spots that they want to.

It’d be like doing a scale as the music for a show.

Personally I wished Madison Scouts 1986 was on here. I did realize that good footage of the show has either been lost to history or is hard to find but there is 1 moment in the show that is absolutely amazing

Dont get me wrong, i love modern DCI, the props are sometimes annoying only if it gets in the way of the show too much such as players having to stop and constantly move the props but anyways, modern DCI can be great but 80’s and 90’s dci is a time i think we all want to go back to.

Melissa D. I played on a DCI Snareline late seventies--back when other women didn't. Were neither welcome nor encouraged. Sad. Fred Sanford of SCV, God rest his soul, introduced me to DCI. Would love to see corps go back to more the way it was back then.
