Can anyone elaborate on derivative size increasing from 5 lakh to 20 lakh meaning? Is it related to stock lot size or nifty lot size?

It is related to both. If true, margin required may increase by 4 times

Ex: if we take nifty 24433*25= 610825 value. Now as per rumours 6L would be 20-30L.

I don't think the price of one lot (25nos) will increase. Instead, they will increase the loat size that upto the worth of 25-30 lakh.

Contract size= asset value×lot size to if 20l-30l krna hoga then they will change the lot size to around (80-120) Most probably 100 so margin will increase automatically jitna abhi ka 4 lot margin utna 1 lot pe lagega
