Such beautiful wood!!! Wish I had an excuse to buy some of it. Crotch figure is some of the most beautiful wood out there. I cut crotches for wood turning and it is just like Christmas every time I cut one on the pith plane.

Put the 'pretty' side up first! Nice cut, #MassiveMatt! Adhesion. Great how's and why's (edification! 😉) to your blade cleaner thoughts! Excellent camera angle at 23:21 - Massive Bandsaw Sawmill with your future home you have planned for it in the background. Very good explanation of your thought processing...it's really good. I'm running out of superlatives 😆 Great all around video, camera work was exceptional. Magnificent Cherry! Wow! Thanks!

Man, I remember driving through the wreckage of that storm. My wife and I were driving home from MN and saw the clouds from Southern MN, and luckily it had passed by the time we went through Iowa. About a two hour detour off the highway since some trucks had overturned. Going through those small towns, seeing the empty can crushed silos, the flattened corn, the downed trees. Was spooky. Way worse than a tornado, since the damaged went on for miles and miles

Driving through Cedar Rapids, you can still see the damage (and loss of tree canopy) from that storm, nearly three years later.

I sure really love cherry. This was an awesome video. As all of them. We took some cherry we cut with the crotch figure and broke it at the crotch line on weaker pieces and then used the live edge of the crotch line to make some shelves with. It gets the most questions of anything I’ve made. Really cool compression live edge. This reminded me of that. Awesome video Matt. Thank you.
