We have to believe that co-founder Haruna can bring the others together and reinvigorate the band, whilst remaining true to Miho's vision. It hits harder because she founded the band. It's the equivalent of Tuomas Holopainen leaving Nightwish, instead of Marko or any of the others. This is us! CARRY ON! 🤘💜🐺😢

Remains to be seen, replacing the bassist from the talent pool in Japan is easier than replacing the heart and soul of the founder. This band is Miho's vision of what metal can and should be, she talked Haruna back into music, got Midori on board and talked Miyako into coming on full time and she wanted Asami as did her band-mates to complete the perfection that is Lovebites. She was the backbone with Haruna and the anchor especially LIVE. Her band-mates including Haruna tried to talk her out of the decision, so that tells you how important she is to the group. Miyako likely takes over as leader but will Haruna (she was with Miho in Destrose before it dissolved) now have the same passion, this band is a dream come true for any musicians so hopefully she stays. They are on hiatus like many bands today so we will wait and see, this much talent can't be dormant for long. Side projects, other opportunities will come along especially for these talented women. Let's hope either Miho finds some peace and answers to her personal issues or the band regroups quickly and really works at getting the new member to reach the same sync level (it is insane LIVE) that they are currently at. Thank you Miho, I only wish the same joy and happiness the Wolf-Pack experience with every performance of this band for you and that you finally do find some peace and happiness.

Reaction to Lovebites must go on. Even Lovebites and wolfpack get sad news because miho the bassist decided to left the band. Lovebites must bigger and have a lot diehard fans. They deserve it!! Yes this 5 girls are greatest... Power metal is the genre of havy metal most played with more bands in the world... Haruna is big fan of Helloween the kings and the fathers of Power metal.... They created this sound in 84... So i whish all the best for Miho... Lovebites please go together forever... Love you...

Yeah, the 'news' was a SHOCK, but when someone ONLY mentions a 'negative' that could be a passing phase as the ONLY LOVEBITES information worthy of comment? And I read that kind of comment over and over? My questions were MY way "to process" that negative-sensationalizing by those who have knowledge of LOVEBITES SENSATIONAL POSITIVITY that they could have INCLUDED in their comment. As someone who accused you of deserting Lovebites may I say “welcome back”. Unfortunately you waited so long, Miho decided to leave the band…. (Kidding). But yes, she left yesterday. The band have promised us they will be back and given their lyrical mantra, I believe them. This track is also performed at the Zepp Diver City 2020 gig and is almost identical, as you’ll no doubt not be surprised to learn. They have their fourth live concert release due on the 29th September, recorded on a very curtailed concert tour in Japan in March and April, entitled “Heavy Metal Never Dies”, 18 tracks, 7 new to their live catalogue. I strongly recommend the trailer for it which is over 5 minutes long. When Destinies Align is the concert opener. Great and informative reaction as always.

Great reaction man, I appreciate you showing support for LOVEBITES. They're one of the bands in the current era who definitely deserves all the success specially knowing hard working and dedicated they are to their craft plus on top of all of that, they are really really really good. "We will always be together, this is us, carry on" these words really hits hard now more than ever. LOVEBITES is awesome, their music helped me a lot thru difficult times since 2017. Now it's the other way around, the band needs all the support they can get from the wolfpack more than ever. All FIVE of them, including Miho. So whatever the future holds for ALL of them keep supporting them in anyway you can.

The gang already filled you in on the sad news of Miho's' departure. So just a little background on this song: Miyako wanted to compose an anthem for the group, but wasn't confident in her ability to come up with the right thing. Once she and the band realized what she had, they gave the song a working name: "Lovebites". Eventually, when it was complete, they renamed it "When Destinies Align". It is about their coming together to save heavy metal from darkness and despair. The other thing about it, which says a lot about them as musicians, is that they deliberately wrote something beyond their abilities, and then simply practiced until they could play it perfectly. The crowning achievement is their live performance of the song, which is flawless. If you ever have the chance to see that, don't miss it.

Nice reaction and the Wolf-Pack can only hope that the band's destiny re-aligns quickly after Miho's departure for personal reasons. Her father's death is still a major issue for her as per her Instagram page so let's hope she overcomes the personal issues she is dealing with. In the meantime waiting for the new LIVE blu-ray/DVD/CD at the end of September. Hoping that that great addition is not the final offering from this group. I so badly don't want them to end up in my Cream/Blind Faith/Hendrix collection of fantastic music from artists that burned so brightly but lasted only a short time before they were gone. This band has brought me back into music full throttle and I still have them on my bucket list of seeing them on the Main Stage at Wacken Open Air!!!!

Would love your take on. Their songs: Scream for me- live studio, Burden of time- live studio, Frozen Seranade, ,Under the red sky, Inspire, Shadowmaker-live studio. MIyako has many influences, Japanese musicians, Deep Purple, various metal bands, etc. Lovebites albums are all mixed, mastered at Finnock in Finland, who does Nightwish.

Speaking of Angra, a J-metal musician that I know of who is also a huge Angra fan is Fuyuki "Fuki" Tenge (singer for Unlucky Morpheus and Doll$Boxx). Unlucky Morpheus have an absolute banger of a track called "Carry On Singing to the Sky," which is a heartfelt tribute to the late Andre Matos (and is Fuki's first attempt at writing and singing in English, which she absolutely nails). Highly recommended, as is pretty much anything else by any of her projects (for me, the best female metal singer there is).

Miho, Miho, Miho 💔 😭 Mlho is my crush, It’s sad news but I know Miho’s loss of her father was a traumatic time for her. We can only hope that the group will stay together. They were a beacon of hope for metal of the highest caliber. I wish them all well wherever their journey takes them.

Wow, what an energy! I also love this kind of joyfull metal with lot of energy and high tempo, like for e.g. early Sonata Artica. Like the all girl band.
