I always thought Virtua fighter FinalTuned would release on PS2. However, it probably wouldn’t have made much sense since arcades were thriving in Japan.

I believe they have some kind of scan system in Japan that lets you keep an account for the arcade scene like Playing online in the U.S. You can customize your character and make them stand out your way. Pretty cool! Especially for 2004. It is still used in 5 today but more advanced.
