Congratulations Emma Lee. It's always good to see young people like yourself hunting and being successful. As for that buck, for most hunters that's a once in a lifetime deer. You are truly blessed and should always be grateful for the opportunities your father has given you. It took me over 20years to get an opportunity to hunt on property like yours and to be able to finally harvest quality bucks and that means the world to me. After decades of working and freezing my butt off, every nice buck I have shot since, I smile, count my blessings and I'm happy as if it was the first deer I ever shot.

WOW WHAT A NICE DEER!! CONGRATULATIONS to bulls eye Emmalee you are quite amazing with that rifle. Now fingers crossed that Houston can take down ol lumpy gimpy and make it twofer this season. Tell Houston this trick my grandfather taught me many many years ago He told me when you line up the deer in the scope and just before you pull the trigger Close your eyes take a deep breath open them and shoot. It's worked for over fourty years and I still use that technique today if I start to shake from buck fever and yes at 56 I still do.
