There were definitely lip-sync issues here but initially I felt there were some non-native Hindi speaker pronunciation issues which actually does show up in singing for many people in South Indian states if we've not grown up speaking Hindi.

A few yrs back the show called Rising Star aired on I guess star plus..the first season of that show was so far the best one. Idk how unscripted was the rating by the audience that they claimed was live but the judges and the overall vibe that show gave was so realistic, the way Mahadevan and Monali used to perform live effortlessly was worth watching.

All the reality shows singers just mime on stage. Singers record it previous day and just make the public fool. I use to make track during 2008. It all started during 2007. They tune the singers voice too There are dedicated engineers to tune the vocal.
