@@Nel_Annette Because Trace Memory is the localized name, and Another Code is the original Japanese name. Names differing between original and localized is not new. They just decided for the remake to use the original.

Kind of wish that all visual novels plays like this, *not* like most others out there. At least this format has you doing things, while others just have you read only, or make a choice barely rarely after just reading. Prefer VNs with puzzles and clues.

I’m really glad that the “Another Code” duology is getting a second chance and we’re finally getting the second game in the series! I have a lot of fond memories of “Trace Memory”, and it’s thanks to that game and “Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney” that I really began to dive into adventure games. I hope this means that Nintendo will publish more adventure games moving forward and that we’ll get remakes of older titles in their library.

Still feels unreal to witness these games reborn!!! I already gushed out hard how pretty they made Ashley look back during Direct-reveal but everyone's looking so nice here - Dee's made a very good transition here too. Just being really happy with how polished and pretty this is in visuals, alongside us getting full voice-overs now. I'd been enamored with the first game since 2007, even if I never got the opportunity to play the sequel. No doubt I'm looking to revisit it before this collection releases - as I'm noticing some bits of differences in puzzles between this and DS original. Here's dearly hoping Hotel Dusk follows along after this one. CING deserves a long-awaited comeback!!!

Curious to see how some of the puzzles are adapted. I loved this game on the DS because it really utilized the features of the DS to solve puzzles. It was so neat and really instilled a love of puzzle solving in me when I was a kid. So excited for this!

If they remake the Kyle Hyde games... Nintendo, please respect the original artstyle. Half of what made those games special was the use of rotoscoping for its characters, giving them a realistic look while retaining the their drawing nature.

I never played this game, i never knew about this game but i saw the first trailer awhile back and it hooked me instantly. Graphics look great in my opinion, i really like stories like this (looks nothing too crazy or too hard to understand), music sounds also great and about the puzzling i cant say much yet. I like puzzle games when they are well made not too ez and not too complicated but this games puzzling doesnt look too hard! Very excited for this game!

I picked up trace memory back in the DS days partly at random, became one of my favorite games on the handheld. Got hotel dusk later since it was by the same people then bummed when heard there was a Wii sequel that never made it out of Japan, so seeing this is a nice treat. Wonder how they're going to do some of the puzzles without the dual screens, the DS was like an in game device too.

Another Code was a game I picked up as a kid because I found the art very appealing. I was so happy to see it receive a sequel on the Wii, and make an appearance in Smash Bros. Now I'm even more happy to see it make a comeback!

I never played this on DS but this being an adventure/story/puzzle game with fully voice acted dialoge published by Nintendo is crazy. They never make stories like this, the most story you usually get is Peach getting kidnapped by Bowser. I am 100% buying this.

Okay, this is going to be my first major purchase for 2024. I am going to pre-order this at my local Gamestop ASAP so I can have it on release day. I played the demo and enjoyed it immensely. The fact that Trace Memory or as it's now known, Another Code: Two Memories (this was the European title for the DS original it seems), has actually been remade from the ground up is pretty damn awesome. Bonus that we're getting Another Code: R - Journey Into Lost Memories, a Wii game that never got released in North America, in this package too. Folks, this is a huge deal. This is Nintendo of America righting an old wrong and finally giving us the games we should've had the pleasure of playing in the first place. It's awesome that we get these two amazing games in one solid collection and on a single cart too. Nintendo can easily coast along with remasters like this until the successor finally hits. So a sincere thank you Nintendo of America, for actually handling this with so much love and care and giving us the chance to experience both parts of Ashley M. Robin's story.

can't wait to play these again. Loved the first one on DS and I ended up buying a PAL version of a wii. no wires or anything else since I already had a wii. After hearing about this I would have saved up on this but oh well. At least I was lucky enough to play Day of Crisis.

I only played the DS game with my illegal R4 cartridge over a decade ago (sadly lost it), but I'm so glad this series is coming back. It was such a beautiful and unique experience. I thought it'd just be forgotten about after Cing's bankruptcy, except for Ashley having a Spirit in Smash Ultimate. And it gives me hope that Kyle Hyde can also make a grand return one day.

Played the Demo for this. Never really played the original games,but from what I've seen thus far it does have me intrigued. Definitely getting this and the Ace Attorney Apollo Justice Trilogy for 2024
