To be fair, Fern was literally raised by a priest and Stark spent much of his life training with Eisen. Neither of them have any real experience with romance, which is probably why they were so shocked by Frieren's Forbidden Seduction Technique compared to Sein (an actual adult who's presumably been in relationships before).

That seduction technique would 100% have worked on me. Something that the subtitle translation doesn't really convey is that when Sein refers to "older women" he's saying "onee-san," referring to a particular TYPE of older woman, which Frieren definitely is not. Flamme, on the other hand, would've rocked Sein's world.

Did you catch that Stark and Fern caught the fish at the same time as Sein decided to join? Talk about symbolism! "We got him, our efforts weren't in vain!" The show is so good with little things like this most people don't catch at first watchthrough! Same in episode 3 with the seagulls! Fern and Frieren arrive in the harbour town, two seagulls land on a wooden rail. Frieren and Fern separate (when Frieren looks for Ferns birthday gift), one seagull flies away while the other stays put. Frieren and Fern reunite, the seagull lands back next to the other. Fern and Frieren leave town, the two seagulls fly away! Little things like this are everywhere in this, which elevates the show even further. It isn't just content or entertainment, it is true art! Timeless and deep.

One small correction Frieren is not 1000 years old she is more older than that...Flamme found her 1000 years ago from the current timeline....she was already in her teen or pre teen days 1000 years ago

@@JasonXIII13 you can see what Frieren's mana aura looks like then when Aura talks about it, and you can see what Frieren's mana aura looks like when Flamme finds her. They are of similar sizes, and it is made very clear that Freiren wasn't trying to hide her mana at the time.

Sadly its just one scene and I don't think that it will get animated. Its a picture of Frieren how she sends the kiss to Flamme and Flamme thinks "cute". So Flamme only taught her the technique for her amusement ;)

At another work, becamed clear anime fun or not in connection between "The Wizard of Zero" and it with misunderstood ago, then I've thought no meaning in increasing the num of new CHs without a basic understanding of JPN subculture. If not like individual otaku CHs which talk about the old original material as if it were a natural-knowledge, it would be impossible to properly review today's JPN anime&mangas, as the accumulation of knowledge since the 7.80's~ is so huge. Therefore, I thought that this unnatural combi of CHs was a mistake on the part of the contracting. However, I think this combi will also strike a chord with otaku for something "MOE". Cara-san, who is intelli but modest compared to Prez-san, is very healthy, good-smallworking…atlactive! &completely opposite of being personality-less, so this combi may gain supports from unexpectedly by otaku viewers.😊 sry for my poor Eng&gross long comment😅
