So sorry you got sick, but I wanted to say thank you for being so open in your last video and not being scared to post it. It was truly a validation for myself. The way you were talking about the toxic side of the restaurant industry reminded me how much crap I’ve survived after like 15 years in restaurants/restaurant retail (that’s a thing here in the southern OBX) People need to know the service industry is not a mentally safe environment. Hi love! This stubborn cold is sticking with me but I’m feeling better in comparison! I frequent OBX so it’s interesting to hear about your experiences there, especially in the restaurant industry. It is a highly toxic place. The people who get drawn to it seem to be artists, dreamers or unfortunately more-so wayward souls that feed off the party and abuse. Dealing with drunk assholes everyday will definitely give ya some thick skin and stories. We go through SO much that is normalized and we are just so de-sensitized it’s wild. But its cons definitely have positives too. I hope you have more positive experiences in the future. Thank you so much for your kind words. Sending you love from Virginia💛

Vulnerability hangovers are a frequent unwanted visitor of mine due to sharing my life online but I def still felt them even before that. Hah, I love a ratty T-shirt and sweats moment. I live in Alex’s big tshirts half the time, it’s so cozy. I also have the ultimate ratty T-shirt from when I was little that I still wear. It was an xxl from the aspca and it has holes in it from one of my childhood dogs that liked to chew on it. It’s stained and tattered but it gives me so much comfort. Sometimes those clothes become our velveteen rabbits💛🥄
