*Crab Combat101* 1) Each shell has it own unique Umami ability. Each ability cast consumes 1-2mp (pink star icons). Use normal attack to regain mp. 2) Guarding negate all incoming damage but your shell durability will go down upon getting hit. Once durability reaches 0, your shell will break. You also gain small attack buff after you guard. 3) To parry you have to guard first and then let go off the guard button at the moment enemy's attack is about to land. Then follow up with normal attack. Your shell durability won't go down with Parry. Parry 2-3 times to stunlock the enemies. 4) Be warry off enemies' blue strong attacks & red grabbing attacks. Normal guard won't work against those. 5) You can use Fishing Hook to drag an enemy toward you and stun lock it. You can also use it quickly grab a new shell. 6) Dropping your shell (press Y) right in front of Diseased Lichen Boss's vacuum move to make it choke.
