John as an old plumber, we rolled up lead , to hold ie,chimney flashings ,they were called Batons, they went into wraggled joints ,and were hammered in using a baton iron, which basically was a square edged chisel like the imprints in your lead . Was to hold flashing in place , Reckon you aint cursed pal

I would absolutely love to have a gorgeous George coin...he was King in my grandparents time...He was still King when my Mom was little and she was living in Bognor when he came to stay to recuperate...she saw him on the promenade in his wheelchair with his wife Mary. Mom was just 5 years old and she waved at him, he waved back....a memory she kept all her life.
