awh watching this gave me back some sweet memories! i worked as a shift at starbucks for 8 months and it was honestly bittersweet but i do miss it sometimes

I am going to work as a barista, any advice? How did you feel about the job after working there for 8 months?

@@Kaiii234 honestly I didn’t have a great experience just because of upper management. But overall I loved working there because of my baristas. My advice would be to be yourself, don’t stress too much about recipes (they’ll come to you like the back of your hand so quickly) and don’t feel the pressure to work TOO hard. Some people will make you feel bad for not giving Starbucks your entire life but it’s a minimum wage job and just coffee at the end of the day. With a good team it’s a great job and you’ll make life long friends :)

Omg I miss working at Starbucks! 😩 I know some days were crap, but like.. It's a really healthy place to work. You get your steps in, and your social fix haha. It would have been nice to work with you! You're great on bar! Only a handful of partners are 😅

@@iamlily9946 personally i love it, but it all depends on your work environment. me and my coworkers are drama free and we all know how to work well together, since as a drive-thru location we're constantly busy. if you like a fast paced job and are great at memorizing things, it'd be perfect for you, but remember it's okay if you don't think it's for you when training after a couple weeks.
