Harbor Freight's stuff has actually improved tremendously over the past 10-15 years. Project Farm is the go to KZbin channel to show tests between all the different brands that I watch. I bought an impact gun, drill, and hammer drill 20v Hercules set that came with a free battery powered shop fan for like $200. They have held up to everything I have put them through and more. For the price they seem sketchy at best. However they compare to every name brand piece of gear I use at work in Construction no problem.

Ryan, I'm a union sheet metal worker. I use harbor freight tools all the time. Their hand tools, especially Icon and Doyle, are top notch at a significant discount. Even Pittsburgh is decent. They also offer a no questions asked swap if it ever breaks. They will open a set to give you the one tool. Very nice place!

Right at my heart!! As a steam locomotive mechanic and forklift mechanic I have never had issues with harbor freight tools. I’ve abused from plus size wrenches, to the wire strippers, and chain falls. They are still the best in my toolbox! Plus you get a lifetime warranty. The only wrench I have snapped in my career so far is a craftsman 3/4. Good choice of the equipment so far!

I work for an equipment rental service, we rent bulldozers, skids, excavators, booms, everything you can think of. He definitely did not know what he was doing in the bulldozer besides the controls. Much love :)

I’m a little late still catching up. You definitely give the person(s) the benefit of the doubt and outstandingly patient with the guys in regards to attendance, not completing tasks and effecting your check book with damaging and possibly stealing from you. I don’t even work in putting down concrete but have several times. Ryan it’s about time for the suspensions with the Darrels at the least! It’s painful anymore to watch senior get on any equipment or help in any way as you know something not good is bound to happen. I make my living as a light/medium duty mechanic, and I've been using HF toolboxes (not the ICON boxes) for about 6-7 yrs now and they are holding extremely well. Very impressed with them.

I am really happy to see Scott today on this vlog! Wow what a great surprise! I am glad Ryan did not buy any of those low grade tools or inferior Tool Chest/Hutch setup @ Harbor Freight. Just wait and keep searching for a nice used Matco or SnapOn Tool Chest/Hutch setup. Lastly, when Daryl started operating that Dozer it reminded me of that strange man that went crazy and used his highly modified dozer nicknamed by the media as the "Killdozer" in which he rampaged through his town demolishing buildings and cars - that was in 2004!

I was a mechanic for 30+ years, I bought a used Snap-On toolbox 20 years ago and it was 8 years old when I bought it, it's still in excellent working condition after all this time other than being a little greasy and a few dents here and there, you might pay a little more for quality but in the end, it pays for itself, a man I used to work for had a saying, you can buy chopped steak for 6$ or a T-bone for 15$ they're both steak but the T-bone is way better.

Respect on the solder, I’m a just a dumb 597 fitter, but my sparky buddies taught me to overlap the 2 wires, bring back, and twist with solder. Thus there is tensile strength and better connection if pulled on. Idk just what they showed me and have done on off-road ATVs since.

I work in the engineering field, ive used every brand from top of the line to doller general vice grips. When it comes to battery powered tools, craftsman we've had the least problems with, milwaukee nothing but problems. Hand tools, socket wrenches, spend the money, everything else is a roll of the dice!! Ive got icons that ive used for 4 yrs but i got expensive stuff ive used 3 times and you can already see issues
