Another dead, and dieing Mall, Chico, Ca....

DAnd its been this way for years. I just happen to have my camera with me while we were getting a battery at Sears...You should see the Malls in Australia! ...Packed with the elderly and youth buying....Now, 30% of all malls in USA are dead. closed.
This is another example of the federal reserve recovery....if that's the case , I wonder what a depression is?
Stop buying people and save our money ...buy food!

I was there last week while visiting my niece at Chico State. It's pretty dead considering it's a college town.

That's because most people WORK for a living....and aren't at a mall on a weekday when it first opens.

It’s because Chico is like a “work” town, there are a lot of colleges and a lot of people have work to do. But on weekends the mall is packed.

10AM mid-week isn't the best gauge for dying mall, but yes, U.S. had over 1,500 malls at-peak, and now there are fewer than 1,000. Some of the A-grade malls continue to do well, yet others were destined to have a limited life span right from the start. The bell tolls for those properties sooner than even I expected, because the economic depression is lasting longer than most anyone expected.

This mall is actually very busy most days of the week. You were there on a wednesday at 10AM, literally everyone is at work or school.
