What's the generic interpretation? Is quite sad astrology is so muffled. Anyone can publish their opinion without truly even understanding astrology. For me learning 6 years now, it's like digging through a dump site sometimes finding gems. Then I find the gem only to realize it looked accurate because of another reason, that the gem looked like what I thought I was looking for.

I think, the thing is, people want things to be positive in a graph looking at their lives and character, the horoscope. We look for an escape exit from divine celestial dimensions. Unknown opening and opportunity to happiness we are clouded from. Character in tribal society, where our biology still functions from, is highly essential as bad character can mean death. There's so much misery on lives of many, maybe even most, existence in maya is dukha inevitably. We read the interpretations searching for salvation and freaking out when the horoscope confirms the problems we have. In a way it was better for general mental health astrology was reserved for the ones with sufficient intellect and empathy to study and use it. It's all too easy to increase fear with astrology when you lack the ability to see the *whole* picture.

I have Mercury in Cancer 6th House Placidus and 7th House Whole Sign along with my Cancer Sun and Chiron 7th House but this video resonates more! And I had to sit and listen to it because it all make sense, idk which house system to follow but both Placidus and Whole Sign resonate to me and my chart it it’s own way! If Mercury in 6th is exalted AND in its own house (Aries rising): 1) could the part of "exchange/conflict" point to the person good at being a lawyer for instance? Or good at communicating, finding a way to reconcile conflicting parts or representing the good versus the bad? Like a mediator, or a marriage counselor, etc? 2) If so, if the energy of Mercury in 6th house is channeled in a professional way, or a useful way, does it mean that it leaves space for that energy not to be used in personal relationships?

When soft planets are in the 6th house they deal with conflict and aggressors in a soft chill manner. Mercury will give a witty chill touch, Venus a compromising touch etc. However if by any chance a soft planet in the 6th house is aspected by a rough planet the dashas of the soft planet will be full of obstacles.

I recall Vic mentioning he doesn't feel the need to incorporate Jaimini. Personally, using Jaimini techniques properly (aka tropically as they were meant to be done) has been the most powerful and impressive astrology I've witnessed in over a decade of research.

I used to like him, especially because of his voice and how he explained revati's cow-calves sutra. But the sutras is only the best thing he ever worked on, the last of his ONLY "gr8" work.
