I tried the same team except replace Iphi with Necoco AS (I do not have Iphi). And for some reason I cannot kill even the first instance of that boss. I do less and less damage with each turn, even though I apply Timber every 3 turns. Turn 16 this Lavog boss has a very small sliver of life, but my damage seems to have evaporated. I did AF, on this turn, and got 5122 damage, having been killed thereafter. If I do not have Iphi, what should I change / do differently?? How to get to HP stopper on turn 2? => this does not happen in my case. (Note: my Benedict 80 shadow, so only one PWR badge, not 2).

Yea, Iphi is a busted unit cause her passive increases party damage by 70%. I suggest replacing her with another offensive prayer/ singer unit

@@supersayandarmanitan that's because you have to use single target attack to kill only the core. Defeating the others will restart the progress 🥲

@@TheMrTataaa yeah sadly and she isn't weak enough to not kill the divisions like Benedict here and she doesn't have single target Maybe Benedict still is the way to go lol

Very frustrating, I tried 4 more times (all times I die). The solution for me to pass the 1st boss is to put pitch dark necklace on Benedict and do Enhanced zone with Limil. Then turn 4 is a kill. But on Turn 5 I do not reach the HP stopper, and run out of MP by turn 7. I do not have Glimmer Necklace, so I already tried using Dryad's Necklace, Neckalce of Might and Pitch Dark, and Pitch Dark gives so far the best result, but for 1 turn only :(:(:(

Do you have other new characters like xianhua? Some of the newer units are amazing against them

@@TheMrTataaa I have Xianhua 4* only, waiting for Chants to come. Anyway, I solved Lavogs gamma and beta one with this team, but changed moves and some grasta. I published my video on youtube, you can watch it. I still kill in 7 turns, but... I switch Necoco and Radias to get the slash zone on turns 1 and 3. I use Elpis weapon on Benedict. I use some different grasta (Necoco carries max HP and Void shareable grasta). I do AF on turn 5. Yipha sets final slash zone and Limil awakens it on turns 6 and 7. The only additional change needed for beta boss was confusion resistance badge on Lovely. With alpha there is some trouble at the moment - it does not repeat exactly.

For the setup they were all the same except for the water, where Lovely equipped anti confuse badge. You can find them at the end of the video.

Another question is how to make sure Benedict does not run out of MP. He is out of MP by turn 8 or 9, and it takes time for him to recover that MP and become ready to battle 2nd time.

For MP problem, there are some alternatives: -Kumos / Iridian (healing) -MP recovery unit, like Radias AS -MP recovery/ reduction equipment/grasta. Btw this strat is meant for "quick" clear. Try a more defensive approach (more turns) if you're having trouble against these bosses

Basically anything. I gave Benedict mind grasta cause pain grasta will overkill them 😂
