I agree! I’d say these two and “Land of Snow and Sorrow” fit nicely together in the same group of slower songs. I especially like “Death and the Healing” for it’s very nice melody. :)

The acustic parts Jari plays couple of times really sound like something you'd play on kantele (Finnish trad instrument, harp like). Gives it really folky feel. I love it. He has done the same sound in couple of other songs as well, like Loneliness. I truly recommend that you listen to it next. It's very beautiful. The whole Forest Seasons album is great imo.

Nice one as per usual! I would recommend to listen through the Forest Seasons album in order - Loneliness is last (winter) 😬 preceeded by Spring, Summer and Autumn, as is only right and proper.

Thank you Thomas for another great reaction! It's not a happy song, is it? That Finnish melancholy kicked in? Amorphis has similar effect on me.. it's aggressive, beautiful and sad at the same time. Only classical music and metal can do that to me.

Metal can also be uplifting and happy, so I urge you to try Ensiferum and their song Rum, Women, Victory (official video) That'll help put smile back on your face after the downer from Wintersun 😉

This song is acually in Drop Bb but they use a pitch-shifter live in order not having to bring two extra guitars since they already use two different guitars, one in D standard and one in Drop C

Wow, so awesome this trilogy... I wonder however, why the studio versions are so polished up and overproduced. I mean these rehearsal versions are stunning but when I listen to them on, for example Spotify, I get really dissapointed somehow, no matter how high I turn up the volume... Anyway, great reaction!
