@matthewbirkinbine26805 ай бұрын
I agree with you on the confirmation with a base ump not in correct position to confirm, but I don't know why he didn't see for himself that the batter went around on that one. Unsuccessful check swing in my opinion, but hey, we call them as we see them. BU definitely should've ejected as soon as coach crossed the foul line.

Chase is a great coach. One of the most chill coaches i’ve ever had. If he felt the need to say something it was for a good reason. I don’t know exactly what was said but regardless, he didn’t show up the umpire or anything crazy. That ejection was completely unnecessary. i played for him in a WWBA one year, back when they were just Sticks Baseball Academy not White Sox Scout. Had a hell of a time and majority of the kids playing for them are absolute DOGS. It’s been cool to see how far they’ve come since 2017.

Called strikes, two inches off the plate. Strikes chest high, a foot outside, a check swing called a strike from 2nd. All of these calls I paused at impact. Incredible how bad the umpires are.
@matthewbirkinbine26805 ай бұрын
One strike I saw was in the dirt on a punch out.
@michaellutfy46615 ай бұрын
On the ejection, the base umpire should have ejected the head coach the second he walked past the foul line to talk to him about the check swing. You cannot argue balls-strikes, and it doesn't get more egregious than that. This is putting aside that we can all see that it shouldn't have been called a strike but as the ump, you have to back your own call at that point.
@marcosperalta54728 күн бұрын
So you have to stand by your pride and eject the coach for politely asking why you f**ked up the call??😭🤣 This is why I only respect umpires who show accountability on their calls😂

These umpires are a joke. Not only did blue at 2nd base make a horrible call, with calling the check swing @ 15:45 a strike, but he’s at 2nd @10:45, no one on second and misses a pick off play, bc he should’ve been at 1st. Then he goes to 1st after the play. Were these clowns bumped up from lil league?
@johnpierce29366 ай бұрын
I agree with the first part of your comment, ump missed the call at 3rd 100%. As for the positioning with a runner on 1st, in a 2 man umpire system the base umpire is supposed to be in the B position, aka 2nd base, for a potential steal or any other play at 2nd. With 3 umpires he would be at 1st base and in a better position for pickoffs.

@@NateDogMXtv would not agree on the swing call. You can still see the cup of the bat even at .25 speed. Definitely didn't go. But again I can't expect a base ump to get that call being his angle is way worse than the plate guy being in B. Plate ump shouldn't be asking a base ump in the middle of the field.
