Hi! Just bought yesterday an identical vise, but it was missing the mounting plate and the jaw didn't open in the right way, probably because it had different/wrong kind of spring-thingy in it. Thanks for the awesome video! Now i know how to fix it and what kind of mounting plate to make for it. 👍👌

hello my friend I really appreciate it yes ,they were made in germany but unfortunately there were not any letters or numbers on this one that can designate the date of manufacture for that matter.
