Welcome to the fabulous world of Home Free! These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there with a 5 octave range & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound. They do awesome covers but also a lot of original music as 3 of them are songwriters.

Home Free is so good. This is a remake of an original they did back about 10 years ago. The remake is so good. They were working on a Country Music cruise and this was in the Bahamas. They sing all genres of music and they are all super talented. Good one!😄😍

Home Free is much more "guys next door" than PTX. Their harmonies are fantastic, their arrangements superb, the voices the best! Enjoy this rabbit hole - it is deep and wide!

Home Free has amazingly talented musicians as does PTX. The country-ish vibe isn’t my thing, but I completely appreciate HF’s immense talents and enjoy listening to them occasionally. Diversity in all things makes the world a more wonderful place: genres of music, books, movies, foods, clothing and people.

Yes, welcome to Home Free, all acapella, no instruments at all. Masters of all musical genres. This an original song written by Tim Foust, the bass. Another great song they recently dropped is their cover of the Zac Brown Band, "Jump Right In", which was recorded in Key West Florida, while on the same cruise where they filmed this one.They won the 4th season of the Sing Off in 2013. Their covers are upgrades, their medleys are brilliant, their collaborations with the original artists are inspirational, and their original songs are masterpieces. Within this 5 man vocal band you have 5 tenors, 5 beat boxers, and 2 bass-baritones. All of them can sing lead and they choose depending on whose voice best fits the song. They can do just about anything and they continue to grow and improve, yet they remain so humble. When they have featured guest artist, they support and allow their featured artists to shine. Several of them have their own channels and do some solo work. And just for fun Rob and Austin sing Opera. What else can I say? Their catalogue of work is quite large and continues to grow. You are in for an exciting journey and the Home Fries will be there for you all the way.

Caution: Home Free is highly addictive. They're all vocal chameleons, 3 of them are song writers (there are lots of originals), the beatboxer (Adam Rupp) is incomparable & their harmonies unbeatable. They sing (and write) in almost every genre & they each have channel(s) of their own. Bonus: you can't run out of content and playing the acapella bands will boost your subscriptions exponentially!

For the best introduction to Home Free, try "Man of Constant Sorrow (kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5bakJWce9ulpdU) for no less than FIVE "Holy $#!+, what was that?" moments. Their cover of Boyz II Men's "End of the Road"(kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y52mg3l3e9mdY6M) is fantastic. Their UPGRADE of the Percy Sledge/ Michael Bolton classic "When a Man Loves a Woman" (kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6HcmIOjm6yErLc) is an instant classic. The "Butts Medley Remix"(kzbin.info/www/bejne/f3KTiHaZaNuHotU) will leave you rolling. Music is so subjective. Personally, I just don't like most of the music PTX puts out....not saying they aren't talented...they are. I just prefer Home Free followed by VoicePlay. As others have mentioned, Home Free's beatboxer, Adam Rupp is the best in acapella. Their bass, Tim Foust, has helped the other acapella bass' up their game. No other group has the breadth and depth of Home Free. This five-man group has 3 tenors, 2 basses, and 2 baritones and 5 beatboxers (they can all beatbox to a degree). What group has at least one other person, sometimes more, that can cover for any other member of the group?

Home Free, Pentatonix, and VoicePlay are considered the three top a cappella groups but personally I'd add a fourth group to that list: The Bass Gang. Home Free is friends with the 3 other groups and have made videos with each of them, either the whole group or just Tim Foust the bass singer. Not a group but I'd have to add Peter Hollens to that circle of friends; his video of I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For with Home Free is jaw-dropingly amazing. Tim joined The Bass Gang (making 5 wonderful bass voices) for Hooked On a Feeling. If you like the sea shanty craze going on lately check out their Jolly Sailor Bold. (And guess which one if the professional opera singer. ha ha)
