Usually when I find a 2009 nickel in my hunts, I'll find quality coins (silver, buffalo, etc). I see that happened to you. As for me, I recently found a 1938D Jefferson and 1974S proof. Your nickel videos are always the most fun. Thanks, Rob.

Hey rob! I just looked through 33 rolls of Pennies, 7 rolls of quarters, 3 rolls of dimes, 13 rolls of nickels, and I found 8 wheat Pennies, 6 Canadian pennies, a 2019 w quarter, 2 of the new 2024 patsy mink quarters, an amazing condition 1937 d Buffalo nickel, some 30s, 40s and 50s Jefferson nickel oldies, and a 1945 s war nickel (which was an ender)!

You sure do get some awesome coins in your area! I had great luck the last few days at work, too. Found two key date Jefferson nickels: a worn 1939-S (don't be jealous!) and a super nice 1938-D! Also found a 1969-S proof quarter! Happy hunting!

Hey rob picked up 2 boxes of pennies and 28$ in nickels i had a good hunt with the pennies and for the nickels i had 40s and 50s nickels for that hunt and i got my first ever key date jefferson nickel i got a 1938 D Jefferson nickel and it has good detail hardly any wear on it best find of today

I'm all for continuing all books to completion. I think it's a great continuing case study for everybody who's considering getting into coin albums. It does well to show that this is a goal that will require time and patience. At most, I'd say just don't think about doing a series five album. You are tenacious in these hunts. But I'd think even you'd need a break from all this yourself.

A really nice first box!!! The first 1950 had a seahorse head where the mint mark would be! Like the series to continue, but starting another would be good too!

Recently I found 3 key dates in one box, 39 D and 2 39 S.

Purchased 2 boxes of pennies today and got my first collection dump it was mostly a 40s and 50s dump and like 5 from the 30s 1 from the 20s and 3 from 1919 Total out come for both boxes was 146 wheat pennies

That was a good bunch of coins. I only got 6 wheat pennies and a 1975S proof today out of $20 in pennies. Probably the first time I ever got a 1942D and a 1942S in the same bunch but no 1942P and I live in the northeast.

You’ve only been hunting for the series 3 50D for 22 boxes. The first 145 boxes for series 3 were hunting for the series 2 50D. If you ignore the series 2 and count the all finds in the past 167 boxes as series 3 finds, (to put it on fair ground with the unimpeded series 1) I believe you already beat the series 1 record, right? Maybe that would be fun to compare!

I think to give Series 4 a fair change to break the record of closing out Series 1, you should close out Series 3 because it'll take a long time for both books to be closed out and really sets behind Series 4 in an unfair way. Close it out, and keep Series 4 running on it's great stride.

How do you take coins back do you reroll or have a machine and when do you take them back. I've been taking then back when I have 1000$ in returns and there is a free coin machine at a bank near me and they say the don't mind but it's been misreading and shorting me a couple dollars most was last week I had 2 skunk half boxes and when I took it back it was short 14.50$ which adds up

A while back, I found my first indian cent. The sad thing about it is that it's basically a blank planchet. it's that worn. Tou can barely make out the wreath on the back and the head. The date is gone, but it kind of looks like 1877, but i doubt it. Even if it was, would it even be worth a cent? 😂
