They said the exact same thing about the commanders. They all said “oh Dan Quinn is not going to let Saquon run all over them. He is going to stack the box and make Hurts beat them” and then Saquon went out there and beat them AND Jalen went and beat them. Its really easy to say “they are going to do everything they can to stop Saquon”….its a whole nother thing to actually stop him

I'm not saying this just because it's Brady but I like Brady's take about our offense. When we come out and do the short passing game it's damn near unstoppable. The holding the ball too long thing is bad for our offense. I do believe our run blocking is better than our pass blocking and the quick game helps with bad pass blocking. We should go intermediate and deep every once in a while.

The Eagles have played 20 games so far this season. Every one of those teams came in determined to stop Saquon and make Hurts beat them. They're all in their offseason now. Nobody has stopped Saquon yet, and I see no reason to think this time will be any different. Go ahead and try. The Eagles still have the best receiver-tight end combination and best offensive line in the league, and whenever Hurts has to make the passing game go, he does. He said it himself: just because they don't pass the ball much doesn't mean they can't. It just means they don't have to.

Saquon is actually a receiving threat as well but we haven't used him like that because we haven't had to. I honestly don't think they stop the run game but if they do we could use Saquon as a receiver and if we don't use him as a receiver we have 4 capable guys outside of Saquon. Our two receivers, our tight end and Jahan.

I don’t think the chiefs will sellout to stop the run. The chiefs haven’t given up 100 yards to a single running back all season. That being said they haven’t played the eagles with Barkley running the ball. If Philly is able to control the clock and play their game it should be a W for them. If the chiefs play their game and limit the run then it gives Mahomes too many opportunities to put up points.

I love how nick wright thinks by some magic that his team has some superpower against saquon barkely or some amazing unique perspective to try and stop barkely as if literally every other team didn't try and say the same damn thing but the reality is, they did "sell out" to stop the run.... nd they didn't stop it. I’ve been going in on all Nick’s takes lately. It’s has been clear to me over the years that he doesn’t like, better yet, hates the Birds. He never has anything good to say about our chances to win any game. Much less the games where we play his favorite teams, Dallas and the Chiefs. Remember the nonsense he spewed about Barkley not being a game changer for the Birds b4 the season? He actually called Dallas beating the birds this year. I used to like his takes but as he’s gotten older, his takes have gone further from straight analysis and more about his feelings. He has been wrong more times this year about the birds than right, and he hates it. When the Birds beat his beloved Chiefs in the SB his world will be shattered. This is his last chance to say he was right about the Birds all year and he is hoping and praying he doesn’t have to eat his words. Go Birds!!

Jalen has shown that he can effectively pass the ball when teams ‘sell-out’ to stop Barkley, and which play calls are the responsibility of Kellen Moore, anyhow. I wonder what Wright suspects the Reid would call if the Eagles ‘sold out’ to stop Mahomes. They would run the ball, of course.
