Glad you found the non coffee trick. I got a lung squeeze a year and a half ago from drinking too much matcha before a dive. Just wasn’t relaxed and couldn’t get settled on the bottom, ultimately causing me to squeeze. I also hold my breath way longer when not caffeinated. Something about being a little tired always helps me dive better

do u have any tips on taking care of a good pair of carbon fiber fins? like superglue along the connection points on the sides? I got a great pair as a gift and wanna keep them in shape for many years :) mahalos

@@ouroboricsnake I’m probably not the best person to ask bc i’m a regular shore diver 😂 Superglue is too brittle for fins so there are waterproof malleable glues that work better but i’m not the authority on that. Keep them clean with fresh water and out of the sun as much as possible 🤙🏽

does the burning method to remove the film work after i’ve used it to dive a few times already? i got mine in june and only been using fog spray but faka still get all foggy after 45 minutes in the water.

@@dinocream3919 yes totally. They will fog until you burn all of it out. Might take a few tries, so i do it before every dive 5 or 6x at least then it stops fogging

@@trailNshore aloha! Congrats and thank you so much! What a great lifestyle 🙌🏽 Lots of consistent practice 😅 I watched all the KZbin videos i could, mainly adam freediver (adam stern). I dive about twice a week and worked very slowly to get here. Worst mistake is to rush your progress. Enjoy every step! Depth is not that important honestly. In this place, we get depth quickly. I’m only about a 1/2 mile swim from the cliffs 🤙🏽

I gave up coffee (and many other things) completely. Def before dives though. I always hear people saying coffee is good for us, but I don’t buy that. Maybe it’s not bad… but I believe the psychological addiction people have to coffee is not healthy. I’m surprised more people do t feel this way tbh.
