Another Kid Broken Bone | Is it Broken or Sprained? | His First Broken Bone?

Another Broken Bone in the PHILLIPS FamBam house? We are not sure but Braden's hand looks either broken or sprained. Check out today's family vlog to see how swollen Braden's hand is from getting hurt while playing softball. We are hoping that he doesn't have any broken bones or even one broken bone....he goes back and forth between wanting to get an x-ray for his hand. I would definitely go get a X-ray...it could just be a fracture but he definitely wants to find out for sure! Just tell him if there is something broke or fractured and it heals wrong when he gets older he could possibly have issues with it hurting and causing him pain every time he uses it...better Safe than sorry is what we always say 😁 Hope there isn't anything wrong though!

The Dentist/Dr. talk freaks me out. Haha, I am a Momma and I still have a phobia when it comes to Dr.’s. I did spend many, many days in Dr’s offices and dentists. Even many days in the hospital. I am glad your kids and my kiddos are healthy! It is a true blessing!!

I break my pasta too. I have a video where my son got his hand stepped on with a soccer shoe and we thought for sure it was broken. But it wasn’t. We took him to the ER just to make sure because it was swelling like no other. He was out of sports for a month before the doctor cleared him. Hope your sons hand is okay.

I haven’t ever broken a bone but I played softball from elementary to my sophomore year of high school because I tore my ACL and dislocated my knee. I couldn’t play after that happened. Now I’m graduated from high school and am 19 and dislocated my knee for a second time in November and I am still in physical therapy...Braden better be easy on his knees because it sucks having bad knees. Love your family! ❤️

I brake my noodles too!! Try having Braden soak his hand in warm water and Epsom salt that can really help I was a dancer and I used to do that with my feet when they got extremely sore and swollen and it was like heaven 🤣🤣

Yep, I've always broken my spaghetti noodles in half, as well. 😋 Emsie's hair has gotten SO LONG!! It grows SO fast!! What are you talking about when it comes to the dentist shots in the mouth don't hurt??? OMgosh, I HAVE TO go to a dentist that had laughing gas, because I just CANNOT handle those mouth shots. I'm well over a half Century old, but I'm a big fat baby, when it comes to going to the dentist!!!

Throw in a can of chicken and some steamed broccoli into spaghetti....but the way you do it is just fine I love it that way! Also I break my spaghetti but my grandpa always had a fit he said we are Italian no breaking spaghetti lol

I also break the spaghetti noodles, it cooks faster and easier to eat and fits in the pot better. Hopefully Braden’s hand isn’t broken, I don’t really think it is, probably bruised. It’s happened to my husband. My mom though, when she used to play softball, she got hit with one in her leg and that ended up with her having a blood clot. I think it should get checked out either way. Better safe than sorry, good luck!

I snapped my Fibula and Tibia and it immediately swelled,turned blue & purple and could not put pressure on it what so ever but after a plate screws & pins I was back to business. Hope he heals up quickly!

I break my spaghetti in half. I feel it fits better and cooks better. And if you add butter , fresh cut garlic and oregano and onion together cooked in a separate pot then add it to the spaghetti It tastes great mixed. Of Course cheese as a topping.

I used to be a survivor fan. I drifted away from it a couple of years ago. I hope his hand heals quickly. Other than a thumb, all my broken bones have been in my legs and ankles. Doctor is less scary for me. I have to get tranquilizer before a dentist appointment. I Seriously stress out. Depending on what I am cooking depends on rather I break the Spaghetti. noodles. The boys like browned butter and garlic with Parmesan cheese in Spaghetti. Sometimes with steamed broccoli mixed in.

I break our spaghetti into 3 or 4 inch pieces. My husband is a spaghetti with meat balls fanatic. I put in about 2/3 of a 1 lb. box. Very little is ever thrown out. Lol.

More comfortable with a Dr then a dentist lol I hate getting my teeth worked on😱😱I think it’s a bad sprain btw, but you never really know. I’ve seen people able to move limbs but they were broken,so best to get it looked at ASAP.

Just started to watch your video and I have to tell you my son has a broken right hand by his ring finger and pinky that happend on February 20th and today he had a follow up appointment with his hand specialist,hes in a split that he has to continue to wear for another 6 weeks and after the 6 weeks time is up,we will check his hand and see if he can handle any pressure by his 2 fingers and if he still has pain gotta follow up again with his hand specialist and go from there to see what's gonna happend next cause they said by the 6 weeks time in the split he could heal to 60% and by another 6 months after that time period it could heal 100%!!!!! So I really think yall should take Brandon in!!! Will keep a look out for his update!!!

Brayden - try soaking ur hand in a bowl of warm 💦 💦 and epsom salt for now (Dr. Teal’s is available @ Target or Walgreens)

Though he doesn't have to pop his ears to hear anymore, you still have to keep an eye on it. There will be some days that the ears will feel like they are stuffed and have to be popped. This for me is normally a sign that they need to be cleaned out deeper. Once they are cleaned the stuffed feeling normally goes away (unless something deeper is happening). Hopefully it will be awhile before he gets the stuffed feeling again. As for the doctor, dentist debate. They are equal to me. Dentists: I've had a ton of cavaties filled (little to no enamel on teeth), I've had a root canal done, I've also had to have some baby teeth pulled before. Doctor: The worst thing I had to do here was get tubes in and then later taken out, and top portion of my adnoid taken out. Now that I think of it, I only ever go to the doctor if I've been sick or in pain for while. Last sickness was strep (last month), and last pain was kidney stones (a year ago at the end of the month).

Elijah good question.... I think I get more nervous going to the dentist. Tooth pain is the worst! If you have to get shots😭 Ouch! A cleaning I enjoy going for but that's about it. On the other hand I have had to have a couple surgeries and you're right that is very scary. I have also had to get shots in my back that might be an equal OUCH lol..... Overall though I think Id prefer the doctor over the dentist.
