A cousin of mine was struggling with comprehending math questions, I had used a puzzle game to help her build up what the matrix is, it took time with that tutoring practice that she was able to improve her skill.

None of your life is boring! We all love watching because it’s calming, heart warming and so interesting! You helping your son with his studies is just as important as you worrying about the veggies they eat, their happiness and wanting the best in life for them. You’re truly a great Mom Linna, I wish there were more like you ❤

You are so wonderful to help your son the way you do. The Japanese education system is notoriously difficult, and it puts a lot of stress on students, and parents as well. I laughed when you said you were going to eat lunch before going to the grocery. In the US we say that it is dangerous to go to the grocery if you are hungry - you buy too much, especially things that you don't really need.

Hi Linna. I'm a single mum, similar age to you. Both my teenage daughter and I have ADHD. I work and have a side business and I do my best to be organised but sometimes it's a challenge and overwhelming. When I try to take time for myself I always feel guilty. I admire you and your content is inspiring (although also guilt inducing 😅). TMI, I know. It just felt good to share. I do love your videos 💚

Hello, Linna! I apologize for not commenting lately, I have been very sick and was in the hospital again. Do not worry, I am fine, I unfortunately caught the new strain of coronavirus and it messed with my lungs, but I am feeling much better now! The doctors were wonderful. I wanted to comment especially on this video because I wanted to thank you for supporting your kiddos and their education. I know things in Japan are a lot different here than in America...I went to public school so I didn't have to take any entrance exams. I don't think I would've wanted to--I liked my township (and funnily enough, it is the same township I work for now!) so I was happy where I was. My point is, your boys are going to be so smart because you are taking the time to help them learn and grow. Sending you all my good wishes, as always.

K is doing fantastic at English. I know you said he was nervous because you were filming, it might be good to tell him that he has support from all of us around the world! It is also okay to not film all parts of your life and keep it private, especially if your children are not comfortable with it . I along with many others are content to watch what you are willing to share with us.

This is nice and very wholesome. I cannot help but think, if my kids were still around, I'd be doing something very similar. My daughters would have been 8 this year, February 14th. My third, didn't know gender yet on son or daughter as we wanted to be surprised, would be 6 in June. It's hard to think how much time has passed since I lost my family. It's videos like this I watch or new ones I stumble across that help give me piece of mind and perhaps help me heal just a little more.

I am a fan, I also raised 2 boys. I don't know what the Ed. Sys. are like in Japan, But, where I live the difference between Public School Learning and Private Scool learning is huge. So, we worked very hard and kept financing, too, their Private School Ed. From grade school thru High School It was worth all the effort!

I know this prep work so well. A large portion of my time is going into that for my daughter. Here final tests are in a week and a half. And then we can both take a break until September when the new school year starts and she'll be going to secondary school. Though I don't mind putting my time and effort in it for something she wants, but I'm looking forward to having a bit more free time to relax, catch up with some KZbin videos, picking back up some hobbies.... I love the combination of daikon and yuzu. I always make namasu with yuzu. Last November I found yuzu bettara in Kyoto. That was amazing. I want to try making that when I have some time.

Hi Linna! I love your videos! I have been watching you for years now. I just wanted to give a bit of advise if you don’t mind and I hope it doesn’t offend you. For your pans, try and use wooden utensils so they don’t scratch them up. They are so beautiful and I’ve learned over the years (as I have similar one) they get damaged with anything else. I hope that helps and again just a piece of advise and I hope it doesn’t offend you 😊

With pothos plants, they like to grow upwards. When they start having a long offshoot, put a hook on the wall above it and loop it over. You can keep doing that as it grows. It'll benefit from it! Whenever you go to the supermarket, I bring out my phone with my currency conversion app to compare prices between Japan and Texas. Our prices have recently gone up a LOT. Your food prices are so good! Things like tofu and fish and meats are two or three times as expensive here. Even though I'm just shopping for one person, myself, it's getting very expensive and I'm trying to find things that are more economical but still healthy. I've lost 93 lbs since 2023, and am determined to keep losing. Your recipes have been a BIG help, but you need healthy ingredients!

Imported wheat prices are higher because the growing conditions can change drastically....which in turn drives up prices. Where 1 area had good growing can suddenly be flooded drowning the crop or drought occurs & the crop withers then dies before the harvest season so other areas has to pick up the slack & cover for shortfalls. Such is the life for a farmer. Its a delicate balancing game that farmers face everywhere. They're all at the mercy of changing weather at Mother Nature's whim.
