Another Love (The Last of Us)

Anyone who has played the game(s) knows that Ellie's emotions resemble that of a child. In saying that I don't mean that she is childish, but that her emotions are pure and raw. She loves whole heartedly and hates the same.
I didn't want to focus on her pain too much in this video, though I do hope that some heart strings are pulled.
When you separate the stories it's easy to be lost, but when you really pay attention to who Ellie is you understand the decisions she makes. I don't believe that Ellie is incapable of love. I think that she doesn't want to fall into it until she is in agreement with her soul. I think that is why she leaves Dina. By not finding Abby she felt that she was ignoring her love for Joel.
This is simply my opinion and one that I could rewrite in more detail, and time and time again. I do wish she had made different decisions, but I will say I understand the one's she did make.
