Always love reactions to this song as no one ever sees the harsh vocals coming. As people said backing vocals by Anette Olzon. The girl in the video was Aleah Stanbridge who did backing vocals for STS at various times and was in the band Trees of Eternity with their guitarist Juha Raivio until her untimely death from cancer in 2016. Kai Hahto of Wintersun and Nightwish fame on drums. He was with STS for a number of years.

I disliked Anette Olzon in Nightwish. But this song hammered home that she is an awesome singer! Nightwish and she just weren't a match but her solo work and other collaborations are just pure fire! The 2nd transition where Anette comes in sends shivers through my spine and tears me up.....brilliant!!!

StS is my all-time favourite band ever. If you have time, jump to the rabbit hole of StS. You want to take the plunge, start with The Plaque of Butterflies. 34 minutes of doom metal perfection. And have the lyrics available. It’s a sad story.
