Had this on my wall also back in the day along with a few others. I had seen it previously at shows when younger but dont think i had ever been as close as I was when you brought it home reslly nice to have a nose around and i have to say i really like it. Just the workmanship and time thats gone into it is mental.

I remember this from back in the day and saw it at the Max Power Reunion. Fair enough it’s not perfect, but overall is in incredible condition bearing in mind the mods were done 20 years ago. Really pleased to see it is in good hands as the car is an absolute icon of the Max Power era.

Definitely some areas showing some age. However, for something built so long ago, it's amazing it has lasted this long and not been a complete peeling mess!! 😂 No idea if they are genuine Ganador mirrors. I hope not so the Jap fan base don't come try steal them 🙃 Should make for some interesting content delving into the depths of it 🤣

Amazing to see so many period Max Power cars still kicking about. I still have the issue of Redline somewhere with this on the cover from like 2005 or something 😄 IIRC it was built originally by Xquisite Automotive - they knocked out some crazy builds back in the day. Do you remember the green Autovision MR2? That would be my dream 'Max Power' car to own, wonder if it's still about? 🤔

The autovision MR2 is still sat on a guys driveway looking very sorry for itself. Alot of people have asked to buy it but he won't sell it unfortunately.

Yes, speaking with Nathan who installed it, it is just a facia to look like the unit as a way to quickly mask the oem buttons.

yea, the unit had a missing fascia, and the original saxo button setup modified into the facia to make it look like a headunit

I'm currently in process of max power and boot building my 01 punto, would you recommend a site to buy body kits before i offload hundreds into a fake site..

There are not many decent websites for bodykits. KIT KINGS bodykits in the UK have recently been set up and have bought a lot of old moulds for various cars. Might be worth seeing if they have anything? Madmotors used to be ok but recently I have heard mixed reviews on the kits and lead times. Facebook marketplace is where I find most of the stuff I buy tbh.
