Ccs1to chademo adapter for the Nissan Leaf by accraine is working again after a second update in the same day. I was a little bit worried after the first update did not work anymore but after reinstalling a second update it is working strong here in the United States. Link. accraine.co.uk...

Me also. yesterday went on a pretty long road trip to Florida’s largest arcade and pinball arcade every charger was broke and three counties that I was in including CS chargers but I knew there was a 18 pump station brand-new in downtown Orlando that I could hit after having a lot of fun and they only have CC and I have it down to 8 or something like that, adapter actually was worth its weight in gold

I felt so sorry for you yesterday when the adapter packed up working with the new software, you wish you could roll the clock back and just leave things as they were when that happens Best wishes from London 😊

Yeah, it was a little bit depressing. I was not excited once it failed LOL but it was only a couple hours later and New firmware was pushed out to me and I installed it and now it’s working great it was a little scary.

Good to hear it’s working again. You mentioned how much easier it is to update fw compared to Longood. You say you don’t need a computer (except for putting the fw on the thumb drive). I don’t understand. I have the Longood and it is exactly the same there. Just connect thumb drive via the cables and a power source. No need for a pc for the update process….(?)

It is basically the same, except you don’t have to deal with the one Cable to get information into the computer. There is no debugging process.

So the debugging cable is not needed don’t even have one what you do is you connect the battery to the Y splitter cable? Just plug in the thumb into the splitter cable and all the information that’s in the unit goes into the thumb drive while you’re charging no computer on the hood of your car plug it into the computer thumb drive the information goes directly to the company there is no more debugging

@@nomadichippie Glad it works. I travelled from Norway to The Netherlands (930 miles) thru Sweden, Denmark, Germany. All with the Longood adapter and CCS2. I am glad it works well here. Still strange it works poorly for you. I know one guy in Norway suddenly experienced the adapter not working on any chargers. It turned out he had a stuck relay that came loose with some carefull bumping the unit and checking with multimeter. Just FIY.

Good to hear it's working for you. Get yourself a USB OTG cable for your phone, then you can copy new firmware to the flash drive on the fly without the need for a PC if the adapter doesn't need a PC or specific program to flash the firmware.

One of those, I’m just not sure if I can copy the firmware to my phone. I have not tried that, but I do have thet otg maybe I’ll give it a try next time instead. Haven’t to drag my computer with me supposedly all I have to do is use the thumb drive connected to the unit itself and when the unit fails it will read Wyatt failed then take the thumb drive home plug it in the computer or if I have my laptop with me I could just do it at the charger and they can create new firmware but I do have the one that’s working now saved a portable hard drive so if there’s any future updates, I can always refer back to the old one

I was so upset for you when I saw the firmware back fired earlier today. Pleased for you it's back. The accraine unit seems far and away better than any of the alternatives by a country mile.

@@nomadichippie feels like they have a better understanding of the CCS standard which is what is making this easy for you. And very telling that there was a difference between the CCS 1 and CCS 2 firmware that made it stop working.
