A major reason for Montego Bay's lack of urban expansion is the very rugged limestone hills around the city...this highway will be a game-changer towards opening up the previously inaccessible areas behind the city for urban development (a reality that will allow Mobay to once again surpass Spanish Town and Portmore in urban population density...

Bless up your self brother another great video as always one question 🙋🏾♂️ I been asking portmore 6 lanes highway 🛣 causeway is it considered a bridge because if it’s I would think it is longer than this in mobay

Thank you very much sir! We will have to look into it as that is the information given regarding this bridge. Hence we stated "it is said to be".

@DronesEyeView2 ай бұрын
Thank you very much. There are some sections along the projected path in which some persons have not yet been relocated. If you pay attention to the section of the video just as we are about to jump from Irwin to Fairfield, you can still some houses and little areas where lands are being cleared.

May I touch on the matter of the sewage treatment ponds but I suppose they had no choice but to squeeze in an access road. In foreign sewage treatment is done in isolated areas.

@@TylerLynval in your mind .. highways are past due in Jamaica this one lane traffic kill’s people and take forever to go where’s you want to go Jamaica too far behind .. and debts are being paid
@garfieldwhittaker9442 ай бұрын
@@Corey49 with all you've said here I think that they are underbuilding this highway by not adding space on the roadway's margins for an additional two HOV/emergency vehicle lanes given that this road will soon become greatly congested as the rural lands around the bypass urbanizes and densifies....since the government plans to build out housing schemes/estates across the adjoining hills that be opened up by this Perimeter road.....
@leslierobinson95992 ай бұрын
@@TylerLynval What debt? When the PNP left office in 2016, the debt as a percentage of GDP was 147 percent. It is now 72 and will fall to 68 percent in April next year. This project is being done with the resources of the GOJ, not borrowed money!

Why they keep making the lanes so narrow. A truck is 8 ft wide and the lanes are 8 ft. That doesn't leave any room for sway error. This is one of those times I wished they had copied the Americans. Roads are supposed to be 12 ft not 8ft. Poor engineering.

Talk Talk Talk Bold opinions, what have you ever built
@HeadonwriterАй бұрын
@Gfjhdyin A person with intelligence would have asked the question before making a stupid statement. Common sense alone is more than enough to let anyone know that 2 trucks traveling in the same direction often find it hard to do so on our narrow roads I guess you don't get out much or don't observe what's happening when you're out.
@GfjhdyinАй бұрын
@Headonwriter intelligence isn't everything that's why I'm asking if you have such a strong opinion why dont you go show them how it's done?
