These are good questions. I get per diem, and I also got paid for a few days while I was in the office filling out paperwork and watching a bunch of videos the government requires on things like what to do if I get taken hostage and how to recognize human trafficking. Why are you masked up, alone, outside...
@FallofftheMap3 жыл бұрын
Some of it is just habit. It’s $100 fine where I’ve been living in Ecuador regardless of how far away anyone is. Some of it is because I don’t know when someone will come along all of the sudden and while I’m recording video my hands are occupied so I’d have to stop recording and put my mask on quick. Some of it is to set an example. A lot of the KZbinrs I like and follow have disappointed me when it comes to using masks. And it’s also out of respect for other people. Regardless of whether it actually helps in an outdoor situation, a lot of people feel stress and fear when they see people with no mask. I prefer not to cause that reaction in others.

@FallofftheMap3 жыл бұрын
Perhaps I’m saying it wrong. I don’t know. I settled on this pronunciation after watching a many videos about Niger. There were 3 distinctly different pronunciations. The French pronunciation had that “l” pronounced like a “ee” as in week. The American pronunciation pronounced the “I” like eye. The ignorant pronunciation made the G hard. Being an American I went with what seemed familiar but also reasonably correct.
