Big truck drivers are always racing on the streets. Yet the cops don't tag them for speeding. It's the cops fault. They should make it so if a big rig driver is the cause of the accident, they lose their license for 5 years, first time. Second time, license is gone for life.

I've been stopped at that traffic light by the storage warehouse and seen speeding trucks making that left turn trying to beat the upcoming red. Shouldn't semi truck drivers know that they cannot speed through a turn like they probably do in their F-150? Especially a fully loaded semi. I've been on the freeway and have witnessed fully loaded trucks weaving in and out like they were driving a Honda Civic.

A very long time ago......folks will remember the dump truck that lost its brakes on Kam 4 road and killed 1 young man who was just waiting for a bus to take him to his first day at work.....he was a son of a family, very close to my parents...... I know there is a weigh station before the bridge.....but this kind of collisions probably will result in STATE DOT manning checkpoint from Auiki St to Nimitz...... if your supers were like Amazon, you would NOT be speeding.....their speed IS monitored on the roads.

Terribly trained drivers these days. That’s why. Someone is training them at Leeward Community College and I can only assume that safety is the last thing they teach, if at all. Speeding, tailgating, texting, staying in the left lane, no signaling, trash flying out their haul,… whatever. Nobody gonna do anything… Hawaii. You should see them driving home in their cars from Kalaeloa side… neon shirts… reckless.

Truck drivers may have their CDL, but those guys are some of the worst drivers, next to the bus drivers. Both speed and cut people off and we all need to yield to them because of monstrousness.

I work Sand Island with these truckers..these guys are FLYING..trying to make the light so they don’t have to downshift/stop at the light..plenty newbies too behind the wheel..

I drive that area everyday at that time.The traffic is so heavy,no way you can speed.You gotta be a m0r0n to flip your truck.
