You can remove the stiches in the neckline in the Petiteknit sweater and resow it down to the neck a bit looser. Worked for me at least😊❤❤❤

The easiest yarn site to get to in Melbourne is Morris and Sons. The trams are free within the city itself, and very extensive. I don’t love their Estate base (an 80m long skein will have 1-2 knots in it, minimum. I find their Empire base to be a lot better to work with! Morris and Sons don’t carry local hand-dyed, so you might need to look elsewhere for a souvenir skein. Good luck for your wedding, sending you positive vibes 🎉

I live in Melbourne and really enjoy our local yarn stores! I would suggest checking out Woolarium which is in a cool suburb with nice cafes and shops called Northcote, Little Woolie which is near the beach on the Mornington Peninsula in a place called Hampton, Mooroolbark Wool in Bayswater north, and Morris and Sons in the city! Bendigo is such a hub for wool production, I think there is a mill there that does tours too so definitely suggest heading there for the wool festival/show! Enjoy your trip!! 🫶🏻🩷

Another Melbournian here! Love all the other reccs that people have given and another one that I would like to add is the brand Great Ocean Road Woolen Mill who has some of their yarn stocked at Sunspun. Also quite enjoy Bendigo Woolen Mill in Bendigo

Hi! Have you considered redoing the neckline? It might be too hard to unpick your sewing in that yarn, but it could be worth it. I have had this same issue after sewing down a folded neckline. The cast on was not the problem for me, it was my sewing that was too tight.

Beware the Drops Melody shrinks after blocking and wearing. I would knit the sleeves and body a bit longer than what you want 😍
