Nice job, this level is no joke 👍 16:45 the 'stragglers after a wave' thing is usually due to wave desync, it's very unfortunate but sometimes in spawns a few enemies (usually strikers, shooters, or hybrids) after the wave should be over due to desync, and it usually the desync gets progressively worse and worse the more waves there are 20:40 I agree about R2 (especially the last 2 levels) being harder than R3 (though R3 is much more fun than R2 imo), but R4 is definitely undisputably harder than R2 by a fair amount Edit: I love sawed off shotgun, but seeing people take sawed off and slug shotgun for a reactor is... wild -especially because slug just isn't that good- (wait what who said that) and sawed off, while it is good, has poor range so it's bad for reactors which you usually want weapons with a bit more range

@CarbonKnight9 Much appreciated info mate! And yeah I've kinda grown to like the slug shotgun to due being able to reliably one shot enemies from the hip in sticky situations - paired with the precision rifle I felt confident enough about the reactor defense. But I'm far from familiar with most of the weapons in the game so I'll definitely try out more things and experience them further on.

⁠@@cpt.painkillerI could spout meta (nerd) knowledge or 'erm akshully's or tierlists or whatever else but at the end of the day, every weapon is viable, and the best weapon for you is one that feels good 👍 Edit: buuuuuut if you want some pointers anyway, sawed off also one shots from the hip and can quickly 1 mag a giant from the front, and is just very overstated overall, though it lacks in range. Hel revolver feels amazing and is a staple of a great weapon, carbine is super easy to use and also really good and has insane uptime, hel shotgun is a bit more niche and short range but very powerful into groups and choke points, pistol and rifle are very ammo efficient but also decent, rifle is basically longer range but less ammo pistol, I could say good things about dmr and hel autopistol etc etc etc (: (And I won't argue against precision rifle because it is secretly really darn good and I don't think nearly enough people use it even though they should) Again, any weapon that feels good is a good weapon for you

Tho it's hard to get away from what aim used to, I'll do my best to try out other loadouts when the time permits (probably after we're done clearing R2E1)

a lil thing about why not re-do levels is cuz most are already changed, but there is only so much that u can change. the ending of r2d1 is not only a harsh surprise but a lot of levels will also partially rely on that, and u cannot change it unless u make it inconsistent and some levels finish with that alarm and some dont- and that would be slightly worse cuz u cannot predict it aand thus u might get fucked or not-- BUT also, in the other side, the og R2D2 was a shit ton harder because all that fog u encounter was infectious, and the og r2e1 was also much harder because of [spoilers]. they have gone back and redo some stuff i love watching these vids and i understand the frustration with some parts of some levels, but it is true, it was their first game and some ideas just cannot really be changed unless u rework a huge part of them or rework the entire rundown as a whole- like with Rundown 5 [also omg u ARE trying e1 good luck qwq]

I do sometimes get frustrated but I mostly keep those parts in the videos so I can reflect back on my original thoughts when I first do the levels some time in the future. But yeah the reasoning for the way the levels are is probably more than justified - I just criticize them in the moment very harshly because of all the fresh emotions of going through the level we just did. Although, even though I very much still hate the ending of R2D1 and I think we "deserved" to beat it on our second-to-last try; R2D2 was a whole different beast and I really liked the level - the only reason it took us so long to complete is simply because we underperformed. (And the straggling Hybrids with bad pathfinding those suck.) But I appreciate the explanation either way. It's nice to get feedback from people who know the game a lot more than we do :D And yes - we are going to properly try out R2E1 tomorrow actually. We're still going into all these levels blind so we'll see how it goes xD
