But one question: The silicone seam on the pane is white, was that the case before the leak or only after the aquarium started leaking? It would have been a warning to me in advance if it had already been white beforehand. If it was before than this can be a warning sign for other RedSea customers.

I would never buy Red Sea junk. My LFS was just destroyed a few weeks ago by a fire started by a Red Sea power supply. A similar fire just happened in Texas same Red Sea power supply.

More often than not. I’m of the opinion that RS charges so much for their systems to cover their replacement costs. Obviously NOT getting what we’re paying for.

Thats only a 54 gallon tank and leaking like that. I had a 55 for 10 years + never leaked but my stand was much stronger than that stand. That stand looks weak and thin walled. Next one hire someone to make a stand

Does the tank overhang your stand ? In the video, it appears that the front does. If so, I am positive that's your problem. The aquirum needs to be completely supported. If not, that will cause a tremendous amount of stress on the glass and silicone. That's a disaster waiting to happen. I don't think it's the build quality of the tank, sir. I'd say it's an inadequate stand !!!

@@donaldcox9798 In a German Reeftank Forum there are customers which expirience problems with a RedSea tank but inside the Air pockets in the silicone seam. It looks that for faster production Companys had changed Silicone glue to 2k version. 1K Silicone adhesive takes 10 days (0,0397 inch per day) to cure a 0,397 inch joint. So you have to store a tank with 10mm joint 10 days before you can ship it. No clue which Silicone RedSea are using.
