He's criticizing the way people chose to play more than the game itself. You can generate a world without structures if you hate villages that much. Or mod it out. As we get more updates we get more options on how we play. Just because a certain way of playing is more common doesn't mean people are less creative. As a sandbox game, giving us more without restricting how we play is the goal. And I have liked almost all of what we've been given to date. So I think this guy just wants to criticize because he loves nostalgia.

You go on and on about the lore and how he wants more story when he's talking about the *atmosphere* and artistic direction of Minecraft. This feels like someone reacting to a painter's every individual stroke and missing the bigger picture they are actually painting. You also edited out many of the most well argued parts of the video.
