Hueningkai's voice has always had the power to make me feel intense emotion whenever I hear him sing, whether that happiness, excitement or even sadness. I was already really feeling the song when the preview came out and when the song was finally released, but after we found this out, I really find myself getting choked up sometimes when I listen to it. It was already my favorite b-side, but now I appreciate even more now. I also wish we could see the unit songs live too...

I really like 'lonely boy', there's something special about that song. I'm SO glad you made a video about this!! Lonely Boy was one of my favorite tracks on the album BEFORE I heard about Hyuka's process and it's become even more meaningful to me since. As someone who's struggled with loneliness, hearing the emotion in his voice is so cathartic. He's worked so hard, and I loved hearing Taehyun talk about it, because if it was up to Huening Kai we might not have heard the whole story! To me, Lonely Boy is perseverance.

oh no hyuka almost cried while saying he was actually a lonely boy during the recording process. I noticed he's a member that hides his feeling for the sake of others to not be a burden bc members have expressed he is their vitamin and is the only one that has said to the members to not get carried away by emotions and to keep being strong together. However, taehyun has also expressed how he wants to help hueningkai be more open with his feelings. Therefore, there is a deeper meaning to this i think, he's usually this happy virus for the members but maybe when he worked on this song, he had to bring the loneliness emotions to life through his voice which is something he keeps hidden bc taehyun has said he doesn't want hyuka to feel lonely and hide his feelings anymore. Upon from that, hyuka recently also reveled on vlive how he met his father after 3 years as they went on tour and as he was saying it, he looked like he almost wanted to cry. Hyuka recording and practicing this song could probably be one of his hardest times bc he had to let his hidden emotions out for the sake of the song to get the feeling of a "lonely boy" and i think it touched him in a personal level by the way his tears were watery while saying that he was the most absorbed that he's ever been for a song.
