Awesome! I can't see many people being bothered ripping these tracks after being posted online. Ginger has a loyal fanbase and the album reached over 580% of it's target so it's basically a success already. The 30-track exclusive CD should be worth a fortune.

Don't compare it to the Wildhearts... Ginger's side projects have always being so he can experiment more with different sounds/ideas. I personally like this, but I can see why other people might not.

If people are going to put stuff up then I'd prefer if it was maybe just clips of the songs rather that the full tracks to play to people who maybe aren't aware of the Pledge campain or indeed G's music. Also downloading something that's already compressed for youtube will no doubt be gash quality so hopefully it will put them off downloading it.

Eh, just joking on the whole "fight" thing. Honestly, I respect you don't dig this (or MJ), but fair dos, you can always bang Earth Vs. on as Vanfuckinhalen said. Myself, I'm a fan of diversity, Ginger's always been tossing out surprises, I can never get tired of the guy. The album's got a lot of Willie Dowling/Cardiacs vibes going on, that helps, I guess.

+Philip Arbon what you call exploring, I call half assing. These newer songs are not as lyrically profound or as well musically constructed as many of Ginger's previous records with the Wildhearts. It's interesting you say the Wildhearts are boring to listen to, because this track and many others on this album are just boring and uninspired.

Isn't putting the whole tune up a bit cheeky? We all pledged our money to get the 30 songs then of course the commercial release would be for everyone else. Why not maybe just put clips of each song so that it will encourage more people to actually go and buy the thing as opposed to just ripping it from youtube.
