I remember that day hearing last minute that Stevie Wonder was preforming an impromptu concert at SummerStage Central Park. We ran to get there in time, tried to push our way as close as possible to the front and were absolutely mesmerized. That was my first time seeing Stevie in concert...it was one of the best experiences at a concert!!

Stevie Wonder's music sings to my heart. I once had the amazing privilege of seeing him play an impromptu mini concert on the piano in the restaurant of the hotel I was working in, in NYC. It was an absolutely unbelievable experience to share such an intimate space with a true genius. There are so many songs that I love but this maybe my #1. 💙

Ask me what is my favorite song by Mr. Stevie Wonder and though it will vary from day to day, Another Star will be my answer on most days. When Songs in the Key of Life was released, I devoured that album for months before I finally saw him perform on television. And although I was super crazy about "As," he surprised me when that first performance opened with Another Star. It has forever been very special to me. Bobby Humphrey I love you too.
