Counterfeit currency !?! It happens ! Years ago mom & dad took our whole family to Cancun, 22 of us. Before leaving dad got US currency from RBC in Canada for the trip. On the 2nd last day, dad was pulled from his breakfast brunch on the resort by the manager, security and police. Detained and questioned about US $20 bills used on the resort and gift shop. Thankfully dad kept receipts for everything and RBC played a big role fixing the frightening problem. So yes even fake bills can and have passed through major banks !

Get better soon! Does not sound like much fun! I'm a truck driver also and healing from a torn rotator cuff. I've had 3 surgeries in the past 2 years. Waiting for another MRI to see about a possible 4th surgery. I watch a lot of Trucker Josh and Trucking with Schmidt in the meantime. Lol Can't wait to be healed and back on the road!

Crossing 1000-islands bridge into Canada was around $ 10 US (few years ago) but you could choose to either pay US or Canadian, going out was free. It's a theme😉 For Ambassador bridge same theme, pay to go to Canada. But also NYC George Washington bridge charges you going North only.

Hey Josh, why not just get a nice electric drip coffe boiler for a truck? All truck drivers in sweden have one. You do a big can in the morning for your cup and then you can have a thermos of delicous drip coffe and not some instant coffe ;)

If you gotta do instant, best instant coffee = Cafe Bustelo instant espresso! It's an instant espresso, so it's slightly more robust than your usual instant. They usually have it at Target, sometimes at Walmart, but also easy to find online. But get the instant ESPRESSO and not their instant coffee, which is just the same as any other I've had. Medalgia d'Oro instant espresso is also pretty good.

There are big penalties for making, distributing, and using counterfeit money. Thankfully it isn't as common as it used to be thanks to all of the anti counterfeit measures the government keeps improving. I hate new bills too. They remind me of monopoly money. Lol.

-50 is not fun last winter I was on a 4 day saddlebag snowmobile trip in northern Ontario 2 out of the 4 days had -40 air temps with -55 windchills even the snowmobiles were not happy about that

Canadian roads are not worse than USA roads in general, I mean the highways. Crossing border as a person is not complicated but with a load there are quite a bit of rules and steps to follow.
