I had everything removed in my knee 2 years ago. Meniscus, cartilage, arthritis, shaved bone ends down.... it was a long recovery. 6 months in a hinged brace and hyaluronic acid injections as needed. Today, I am pain free for the 1st time in over 10 years. There was no repairing my knee. It was too far gone. Good luck!

This is wonderful news. But, Derek, don’t push it, Buddy! There’s still a lot of healing going on under the skin way down deep in there. It takes time so be more careful your crazy self!! Sarah, you are a rock star wife! It was smart of you to do the shopping while he was in surgery. Sitting and pacing and wondering and worrying for any number of hours never solved anything. The staff had your cell number if they needed you to come back. Duh! And Jack and sunny are so amazing greeting Dada with their artwork! Jack serving water was so sweet. This is exactly how I feel! Derik doesn't know how to take it easy; always going way too early instead giving it a chance to heal. I think your surgeon would shake his head watching you. Give it a break and take it slow. I hope it works this time or we'll see you having surgery again.

Stinkers, so sorry ,praying for a blessing and a positive outcome come . Oh wow , praise God!!! I didn’t watch all the way through … what a true blessing . Derek, you may always need to be very careful though and take care of your body. Some of the things that I’ve seen you do scares me that you’re gonna indefinitely hurt your knee and now that it’s healed give it a little bit of a break. Your brother hasn’t been through as much as you have so just take it easy on yourself. There’s only one you. My husband and I are 52 years in our marriage and all the things we did as youngsters hurt us now more than in the beginning . It’s hard to realize that when your young 🙏🏽❣️
