I liked it but then I thought Season 5 was consistently strong, they did a fantastic job to make up for the loss of Pamela Sue Martin.

For me the Moldavin Massacre was night times soap operas greatest cliffhanger. At the time is was so shocking and unexpected. We spent the whole summer wondering and worrying about who was going to die. For me it was a bigger mystery then Who Shot Jr.

This and the earlier "top 10" list confirm that the 1987-1988 (8th) season is the weakest season of this long-running drama - perhaps worse than even any season of the reboot version!
