Please approach any news channel and bring this out. Also, people shouldn’t blindly trust anyone like that. I an an Architect. Please ask your builders to show you their previous projects and sit and discuss every single detail and go on a weekly site visit along with ur architect or engineer to make sure these things doesn’t happen. Sometimes people are not aware of certain things and its the duty of engineers or architects to explain the circumstances to then beforehand to avoid these issues. To all those people who are planning for new house, Never ever agree with payment terms whatever builder gives, don't sign it blindly. Builder will make sure that your money will be with them more than what's completed or whatever budget required to ensure that even if client stops the work because of poor quality builder will run away with that extra money as per payment terms. So it's a clear trap from the builders end. Atleast make sure you pay to builder according to actual expenses / purchases / labour work being carried out and don't give any extra amount just it's mentioned in the agreement. Client kudumiya builders kaila eppovamey vechipanga so that they can leave the work as it's and run away from project if things not in favor of them. Most of common people are not aware of this.

That is why in countries like US, the builders will say "You buy the materials yourself. From cement to wooden boards to tiles to bricks. Buy it all. Even I had the same issues with my builder. I thrown him out and did the remaining work on my own. It was difficult to do by urselves but at the end I am very much satisfied now. These builders will approach u with below par market rates and they will charge unnecessarily for extra work. My recommendation is to construct ur home by urselves. Don’t just go behind builders. Not only him, almost every builder creates issue before handover. Atleast, I would say my builder has done some satisfying construction. I've tried reaching Mr.Siva a year and a half back for my construction. Good that I didn't pursue with him. My sincere suggestion is to compromise with him and settle the amount through a 3rd party valuator. You could go legal and I am sure you will win the case provided you have a good advocate but the time, money and the mental agony is something you should consider. Good luck

Your complaint should be of poor quality construction, cheating. You can approach a consumer forum as well for compensation for the mental agony. Write to DGP through RAPD stating unlawful assembly and denial of handover of your property.

Building with cement and concrete is bad enough because it will only last 50 to 70 years and if it's poorly built than it may fall on our heads anytime. My father in law's one floor house was built by the government and ceilings fell in sections in big chunks within 30 years and luckily nobody was home and that saved their lives.
