Another visit to the "Royal Banquet" character dining in the renewed Disneyland Hotel
Since the opening I visited the restaurant 3 times. (Two times for Lunch, and one time for Dinner).
I always had a really good service and a great time, until this time. :-(
What's going on? Is this still value for money?
From all the awesome meet and greets I had in this place nothing remains.

Ive been twice and had the same experience, just one caracter stoppad at mine. It made me a bit sad, its a lot of money and going alone and feeling like they didnt care at all…it was much better before the renovation. So many caracters and they took time to interact with everyone. Now my impression is they only stop for the small kids. They have time to take a minute for everyone, it used to work well! I dont know, i cant afford to go for dinner there. Lets hope they get better with the lunch, and in general with solo travellers. I had a bad ecperience with the breakfast inside the park too, almost no caracter came to my table.

Wow, I had the EXACT same experience with lunch compared to dinner! Guess dinner is the way forward then!

Lunch bookings mostly come from non-Disneyland hotel guests, yet still, non-Dosneyland hotel guests should get the same treatment as the Disneyland hotel guests (who are spending the nights in this hotel) because the price for the meal is the same, 100 EUR 🤯

Yes, and to book lunch you still have to be staying at a disney hotel.

Same happened to use last week. Table of 5, centre table in the Horse room. Pluto and Goofy basically ignored us. I had to get up and go ask Goofy to come to our table. Mickey and Minnie came by multiple times.

exactly the same! so weird! it was a great experience with the opening, but now it seems like no effort is being made anymore. It can't be that difficult for a trained performer to see which table was visited and which was not... this was my third and last time for now. I miss inventions so much 😢.. Thanks to Minnie anyway in her attempt to save the magic.

8:25 yummy this was a top-notch choice 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 And the #deserts, oh my gosh 🥰 However, I agree with your comments. If the price for lunch is the same, the #service should be the same. My ultimate #dining #goal is to have a dinner at “Le table de Lumiere” 💛💛💛 At least lovely Minnie and Mickey said hello to you, but this is a minimum I agree 🤯

Lumiere is a great experience, but the Royal Table was a great place when it openend.. I don’t know what happened.. but it looks like nobody cares about about the guest experience anymore.. In my case, I go for the characters, food comes second 😅😅…. So sorry about this amount of money.. no words for how much I miss Inventions, especially the sunday themed brunches

@@dlplicious let’s hope that “Lumiere” table stays the same when I visit and dine there … I fancy both the experiences: 1.) princesses 👸🏼 with the princes 🤴 2.) great french cuisine 🥘 Btw, did you know that at Auberge de Cendrillon the #breakfast #character #dining is coming back in June?

Echt erg wat hier gebeurde en zeker omdat de acc je zag. Dit hoort gewoon niet :( maar he wel herkenbaar… daarom zei ik een half jaar geleden vaarwel dlp

Dit lijkt eerder regel dan uitzondering te zijn tijdens de middagshift. Een schande! Het was een plaats met veruit de beste characterdining experience (cfr. De brunches in inventions). Nu betaal je 100, wat in mijn geval die dag terecht een schande was. Los van de characters was ook het buffet leeg en ondermaats en de service een ramp, terwijl de resto zo goed als leeg was

@@dlplicious ja vroeger gingen we naar de inventions brunch voor het goede eten en speciale characters. Nu krijg je fab 5 in speciale outfit… maar je kan ze niet meeten en het eten was dan ook niet geweldig… echt heel erg dit :(

snap de reactie van de medewerker totaal niet je betaald voor een diner experience dan moet iedereen die ook krijgen kind of volwassen dat moet en mag niet uitmaken

Was exact wat ik ook dacht…. Ik ben eens benieuwd op welke dagen er dan “weinig” kinderen in het restaurant zitten? Het doet pijn om te zien hoe snel kwaliteit er op achteruit gaat in DLP, niettegenstaande hogere prijzen…. Dit restaurant is een aantal maanden open, en je voelt het al afzwakken… schrijnend.. ik had twee super ervaringen voordien, nu zal het even duren voor ik terug ga

Blijkt meer regel dan uitzondering… Jammer want deze plaats heeft veel potentieel en was een leuke character dining experience in het verleden (Inventions and Brunch)
