WHY I OFTEN DON'T MENTION OTHER BRANDS IN MY VIDEOS.
You may have noticed that I often don't mention the original brands that watches I am reviewing pay homage to. This is very intentional and not meant to offend you or the original brands. I lost my first channel in October 2020 which I had spent 9 months growing and invested a significant amount of money in simply because I had mentioned the original brands in some of my videos. There are people who try to use KZbins lack of understanding when it comes to the difference between homage watches and fake watches to attack other channels and their owners and sadly I fell foul of this in 2020. This channel was also attacked recently and KZbin deleted content simply because I had said 'subby homage' and 'Rolex homage' in two videos despite the watches in the videos being perfectly legal homage watches. Please understand that I can not afford to risk my channel so I will no longer be mentioning other brands when reviewing homage watches.

I own the IX&DAO version of the Serica watch. One of my favorite features of it is the watch band; it's light, well designed and I love the micro-adjustability of it. Super comfy on wrist. That being said, I also appreciate Proxima's band and the fact they included half-links (I like a 'just-right' fit). The only thing I don't like about this watch is the silver hands. On my IX-DAO, the hands really stand out apart from the white dial due to their being painted dark. Apart from that, job well done, Proxima!

The case and bracelet clearly are those of their CW-inspired PX1697, also used for their new PX1703... which is a very good thing in terms of size and comfort.

I agree Proxima make a fantastic watch - I must say the case/dial/crystal are my favourite of the three options there are. However, a major part of the watch they are homaging is the bracelet, and the way it connects to the case. I would love to see a V2 where Proxima release the watch with a similar bracelet to the IXDAO. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Gary.

The hands on this really should black. I like this homage the best of all of them but the legibility with the silver hands is a bummer. I own the IX&DAO homage and would consider rebuying this Cronos but only if it had black hands.

I don't know, I got used to seeing this style of watch on an mesh strap with special adapted end links, so I find the three-link bracelet to be somewhat generic here. And I can't shake the feeling the polished second hand combined a brushed hour and minute hand being an afterthought.

I've got the Tandorio version with a PT5000 for £108 delivered. The finishing is great as is the movement. Only downside is the painted indices but well worth the price. Looks great on Milanese and beads of rice after market bracelets. Interested to see your comparison.

That case looks virtually identical to the case on my Seig Flamma (the first CW homage on Ali) . It's undoubtedly well made, a decent price too. In fact, I'm pretty sure Seig Flamma rebranded to Proxima....

I've got Proxima's tuna diver, 300 m WR, monobloc, semi-sandwich dial (has a traditional, applied indices and date window at 6, but days are displayed through a lumed wheel, moving under day name abbreviations, which are cut out in the dial, forming a smaller inner circle around dial). Fantastic watch, though my only gripe is, that the main index at 12 is slightly misaligned, but then again it's something that Seiko also does on a regular basis😆 Proxima also has great customer service - before they've sent me the package, I received photos of my watch being tested on a timegrapher, next to already printed label with my address on it (so I know these weren't just random pre-made photos), as well as some other details.The watch wasn't the cheapest (don't remember the price right now), but I'm overall very satisfied.

It would be great if you didn’t promote these rip-offs. There are plenty of non-ripoff budget watches out there. It’s one thing when you cover Ali-Express Rolex clones, but you’re actively showing clones of a Serica, which is a tiny brand. It’s like stealing from a mom and pop grocery store.

I have the Ix&Dao and wondered what the Tandorio would be like. Even from pics it looked like they'd cheaped out on the dial and bracelet to keep the cost down... Case looks to be from same place
