To me the best was 3 from the end. This was a great reminder even for a veteran like me. Good video 👍🎶

You are amazing, I love your videos and always learn a lot a clarinet beginner. Who did this haircut?

Thanks for your kind words! I really do appreciate the support! My wife started cutting my hair since the pandemic started 🤣

@@QuickStartClarinet She does a nice job. I cut my husband's hair, too--but he's bald, so it's a lot easier for me, lol! (He's a professional jazzer, clarinet and sax.)

Thank you for another thought provoking video. If one changes the fulcrum (lip) to change the vibrations of the reed, it kinda makes sense to me that the ideal position would be adjacent to the point where the partial (squeak) is activated. Am I thinking about this correctly?

Yes! I think that is the right way of thinking about it. Another thing I have done to teach students how much mouthpiece should be in the mouth is to say that the lip should be about where the reed meets the mouthpiece when looking from the side.

Please put a link to "last week's video." You have a lot of videos to search through.

Here it is: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5fadqx-hb-VZrs I will try to add the links to the description when I mention that in the future. Also, if you go to the videos tab on my channel page they are listed in chronological order, but I know that is still a pain to search through.
