Hi, today I walked in the birch forest in the outskirts and, I kid you not, I saw a little roe deer in 5 metres or so from me. Maybe I scared her and she fled. She was light brown with white spots on her back and I wish I would take a shot...We have an expression: free cheese is only in the mousetrap, so I think free coffee in McDonald's was a sort of advertisement to attract more customers. @@TheYazimanYou should've used the second conditonal saying if I won the lottery I would give you some because it's unreal. We generally use it to talk about unreal things but the verb in past simple doesn't refer to the past. For example you can say if I were a president I would fight corruption. It's imaginary coz in reality you cannot be a president. I hope it's clear
