Absolutely do not feel bad or silly about being upset and having a meltdown about thinking you lost your camera. It is honestly one of the worst feelings thinking you’ve lost or misplaced something, esp when it has some kind of sentimental meaning to it. I honestly would’ve been the same. Love you!!

Chloe thank you for choosing to share your difficult moments with us. Being open and authentic about a topic like meltdowns is so needed and validating and reassuring for so many of us (myself included). It is so impactful, almost more so than a vlog that just shows all the high points of life (but those are so wonderful to celebrate too!) Thank you again ❤

I totally get your Matilda feels, coincidentally I had a very similar experience that same weekend and it was one of the best nights of my life. That same weekend I got to see Tim Minchin live at the Palace Foreshore, and he played "When I Grow Up" which is my favourite Matilda song and because it was outside I got to scream and dance along with them and it will forever be one of my favourite memories. I'm almost crying now just remembering it. People are so quick to bring up the bad-side of Autism and we forget that Autistic joy is such an over-powering and healing and fantastic experience, and I felt it then and it's makes all of the hard times worth it. It makes me so happy to see other neurodiverse people feel that joy too

I can relate to your Camera story/meltdown Chloe, especially the memories part. I once jumped in a pool with a camera in my pocket, bad idea lost all my 1000 photos :( some of when my children were very young. I had a freak out session this week too pre Christmas I was trying to put together an expensive computer chair as a present for my son and it took me 3hrs. After the first 15 minutes I was feeling so overwhelmed because it was so frustrating to assemble and it didn’t look right. Then once I thought I was finished putting it together, I found a tear in the leather. Then I started to panic whether I would be able to get it replaced, go through the process of putting together another chair and another possible meltdown and get it all sorted out before Xmas. Long story short I did get the chair replaced , asked for some help from my dad to avoid going into a meltdown state again phew and managed to get it all done ready to give to my son on the big day.

The realness of your content was so helpful when I started my autism discovery journey and continues to help me feel valid and relatable now that I’m post diagnosis. Thank you for opening your life to the world and being vulnerable to help others feel not alone! PS. Your Apple Watch is my fav color and has a cute pattern!

My job is at risk because of my meltdowns. Now I have to justify my freak outs to a panel of managers. It's really important for you to keep showing your meltdowns. It helps people like me to remember that they aren't the end-all be-all and that it's possible to be a person in the workplace even though we get overwhelmed. Anyway, thanks!

Hi Chloé!!! Seeing you so happy because of Matilda made me watch it as well and it was amazing!!! I loved the song Quiet a lot because I related to it *so much*. Also your videos and you giving us proper autism rep in Heartbreak High helped me a lot. I still remember when me and my mother were watching Heartbreak High and she said that Quinni reminded her of me, she was at least a bit able to understand the way I feel and that made me feel so understood! Don’t judge yourself for having a meltdown. Yeah, some of them may seem or look silly to people around you…but they aren’t silly to you and that’s what’s important. My mom reminds me that everyone, NT or ND, has a meltdown from time to time. You were also SO BUSY, which leaves you more vulnerable to melt or shut down. Please take care of yourself.

God the meltdowns, man. Losing and breaking stuff is the #1 cause. Memories, and poverty, basically. I recently lost a piece of an earring after a lil spasm. Did the same, looked everywhere and turned couches upside down. It was in exactly the place I expected it to fall, which I checked three times. I found it later that day. I picked the item up, immediately felt the hard plastic, and just threw it away and walked the other direction, almost laughing. Once lost and found a pair of tights this way too. ADHD and Autism is such a horrible combo sometimes. The lack of memory and the reaction to it. I feel like I'm crazy sometimes when I lose my stuff. I lost my medical shoe insert, I put it away from the dogs up high. It was RIGHT THERE on something of the same colour but the adhd and autism just couldn't see it or remember where I put it. Forgetting sucks. I get the same way about memories. I care a lot about my pictures being in chronological order, because my memory is so bad. I also once accidentally deleted the album with pictures of my dead cat because there were two of them but they both got deleted. Pffff man. I'd LOVE a working memory. I really, REALLY appreciate you sharing this. It makes me feel normal.

I enjoyed this video. I don't want to scare you, but if your nausea continues after eating udon noodles and the like, it would be worthwhile asking your doctor for some tests and an endoscopy. I was diagnosed with coeliac disease at 31 (I got symptoms at 16, and thought it was just nerves, but I was also caught between a rock and a hard place at the time (as in, I didn't like my parents' doctor and couldn't change)) and that meant I couldn't eat anything with wheat, rye, barley, oats or triticale. Some udon noodles have wheat in them. Buckwheat doesn't contain gluten unless it's blended.

I feel you re having a meltdown, I was at a Xmas party and they had to put food aside for me (I could eat bits of each of the salads but not the whole of any of the salads), I knew where it had been the day before so went to get it and it wasn't there. The person that was finishing it up that morning had decided to plate it up nicely for me - that meant that it was in a different bowl and different fridge from where I was expecting and I wasn't told that it had moved when I went to go look for it. Luckily for me one of the staff was still free and was willing to give me a bear hug (I love deep pressure to calm me down) and so I could short cut a lot of the meltdown, still tired the next day though. If you said to someone that didn't understand that you were upset because your bowl moved and they made it up nicely they would think that you were making a big deal about nothing, so glad to have people who get it.

I am so thankful I'm not neurotypical. I mean, neurotypicals are probably okay in general but i see them mostly accept yet hate life. They center their life around a job that doesn't value them, underpays them, tells them to accept it because if you challenge it you're the problem. I am so thankful to find my truth, im so thankful to be in a group thats hated for finding actual enjoyment in life. Life is not showing up to work on time, paying eay too much for everything and telling us we're not good enough. Its been difficult to deal with constant abuse and judgement but overall life is about what you enjoy and not putting up with a lack of understanding and value of the people around us. Nobody is going to be impressed with a person who showed up every day and worked way too hard at a job. Tomorrow is never promised so we should all be grateful for it when it comes and honor ourselves with living a real life. Not overindulgent but slow living as people are calling it. Maybe we dont al constantly buy things and maybe we just learn to listen to the people around us instead of getting angry about a morally bankrupt society that says to produce garbage for your life and devalue everyone and everything that makes you think.

And as always I could not be happier for you😃😃👍👍 You look so beautiful in all the outfits you wear!🤗🤗👍👍! Your Boyfriend, Dylan, is a very kind and sweet man too🤗🤗! And I wanted to make a suggestion that might help you with digestion and relaxation, buy some fresh lemongrass and boil it into a tea. Lemongrass is delicious, tastes like lemons, and it's so soothing on the stomach. If I'm feeling anxiety ridden or my stomach hurts then lemon grass tea really helps me. And I can so understand that sometimes comfort food is necessary, even if it's not fruits or vegetables.
